CYBERPUNK 2077 Delayed!!!

CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to September 17, pushing back the release of the game from its original April 16 release date. The game is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC

I'll expect at least one more before this is all said and done. Hope for the best, plan for the worst. Far better that they take the time to get everything right rather than push out something unfinished and then patch it up post-release, as has seemingly become an all-too-common strategy

In a dream world yes, in real life projects are ALWAYS pushed back unless it's a small project or it's a huge company that chits out products.

I've been a dev for 10+ years and I can't remember a single project that we delivered 100% complete right on time. Timelines are mostly guesswork, someone gets sick that means a few days lost, something unexpected pops up that could be days/weeks/months

yeah idk if anyone played witcher 3 when release but it had a **** ton of game breaking bugs. quests that you couldn't even finish. took a long while to get the bugs fixed after release

optimization was ass too because of the hair physics
