Sounds like he is ranking how much he would replay a game. Yeah PS1 games look like chit today but they were high tech at the time and they were made for CRT's and use tricks like dithering that look like chit on high res LCDs. The game was huge and like 40-60 hours at the time on 3 cd's, its scale was ahead of its time. Probably some fuking zoomer ******* that played the first 5 minutes on playstation mini on a 65" 4k TV.

Difficult for me to say. 2 was fantastic, 7 was amazing, 12 was my personal favorite (the real-time enemies were a refreshing change).

They all have their own lists of pros and cons, there is no BEST FF, just a personally ranked list everyone has.

The series itself is the best series in gaming, that's not really up for debate. Name a series with that many games possessing consistent quality, production value, fun and complex gameplay, play time and replay value, soundtrack, etc. The list is looooong.
