I love southern accents on women. I'm at work so I can't watch the vid but the Kentucky/Tennessee accents don't sound as good to me as the deep south ones. The Appalachian accent is a lot twangier. There is a suburb near where I live where the women all have a California valley girl accent and its atrocious. Women around here rarely have the super thick accent and the guys usually have them thicker than the women. There is one attorney I work with that has a super thick accent and she is one of the top attorney's in the state in her field

Yea it's rare for the women to have an accent this thick where I live as well, unless she has been extremely isolated from reality tv shows and Lifetime/Oprah network (lol). I actually live really close to where Hannah is; the women here have pretty thick accents, but her's would still be on the thicker side. Unless she only hangs out with the menfolk and doesn't get sucked into TV I can see how this could happen.

Ok I watched a vid of hers. Strange she's from about an hour and a half from where I grew up. Her accent sounds more north Alabama to me. We have a lot of the same pronunciations but she really drags words with the long i sound like right and light which is why I say she sounds more north Alabama. Seems we both say eleven like "uh-lem" and tomato "tuh-mat-uh".
