I always weigh myself in the morning when I first wake up.
A few times, I have weighed myself the night before, and then when I first wake up. The difference varies, but the morning weight is always 2-5 lbs less.
My question is, what causes this large difference in weight? What happens to your body at night that lowers your weight?

I get what he's asking. So during the night, where does the water or liquid food in your system go? i certainly don't **** or piss the bed. I also doubt that 2-5 lbs of water evaporate from my body while im laying there at night.....but who knows, anything is possible i guess. I just dont understand it.

Water loss will make you lighter. You lose water overnight through your breath, some through evaporation from the skin (you lose some all the time through skin, although it may not be noticeable). How much depends on the environmental temperature and humidity. This is most likely the majority of overnight weight loss.
The other thing will be loss through energy stores being used. At your age, height and weight your BMR is roughly 2100 calories a day. If you sleep for 8 hours you will burn roughly 700 calories just sleeping. Depending on the proportion of fuels your body uses during those 8 hours, you may lose 100-200 grams of weight. Burnt fuel becomes carbon dioxide and leaves your body through the breath.
