Gold's is good...they have everything you'd need to make a serious transformation. I'm in the middle of one and the owner is cool as hell. He's an up and coming bodybuilder himself trying to get into the pro or pro-am ranks I think.
One reason I go there is that the price for students is cheap, $19 a month (which is a lot cheaper than the Y i think, I used to be a member).
I'm more old fashioned about gyms, I'm not into the fancy machines and all that. As long as theres a bench, squat rack, pullup and dip station and somewhere to do deads and cardio i'm good.
There is a gym that's open 24 hours though, it's next to the Bank of America that's off of Possum Park Rd/Paper Mill Rd. Across the street in the small shopping center."Always act as though it were impossible to fail." -Anonymous

if student is really that good, i may have to check that out....ymca is ok, but not great at all. too many people who have no clue what the hell their doing and give me weird looks when i pose between sets. ( yes kind of odd but come on people). might have to look into the former golds, whats the join price?

i think that if you really want to get into the whole bodybuilding lifting thing you need to go to a better gym then the ymca and bodyvisions there arent many choices around here but atleast at the former golds you will be around other people who are really into it. this type of atmosphere is more important then pretty weights for making gains. also i recomend the training center on 273 near rt13. why do all the trainers at bodyvisions train at total fitness? hhmmmm i wonder
personally i think total fitness is a nice gym but i dont go there anymore cause its to clickyvictordelcampo@aol.com

are u kidding me^^^ haha, ok i understand u go to gold's gym and trying to rep it, but seriously, theres much more ... how should i put it, strong people in body vision then golds, as i said before, alto of people that even go to gold, stop by to work out here, so many people advancded people, that played nfl and college footblal or trainers what ever you need, the people that work there arnt that great, well like half them can teach you some real good ****, but people that workout there are best in delaware. dude the main boss, was MR. EASTCOAST for 2003 i think, Mr. east what they call him or what ever, has dvds and ****, ... not doubitng golds' but i can tell u body vision is definitly top in delaware, atleast northern

And I understaad you're trying to rep whatever gym you go to also... I'm just saying for my budget and my needs and progress so far, I feel like the gym I go to is great for me.
I feel really comfortable there, people don't talk to me(I like to get in and get out and not talk at all), and they have everything you'd need to get huge. So I'll stick to my spot and you stick to yours, we're all in this together.
And for the main poster for this thread, I don't really know the price for joining, sorry."Always act as though it were impossible to fail." -Anonymous

dave this mr east coast guy goes to totalfitness not bodyvisions to work out even though he lives just minutes from bodyvisions. i trained for the usas and almost won at freds gym on kirkwood highway so i know they have what i need to get it done. if i want to pic up girls and chit chat ill go to bodyvisions. bodyvisions is nice its not the best in the area i hate to say it but totalfitness is by far. and having fred at the kirkwood highway gym makes his better then bodyvisions in my book as well . in case you didnt know im a top national bodybuilder been doing this for a while and i know a few things. also im the young guy in daves video. if you ever want me to show u how to train let me know.

Delaware here too, though Im down south. Just moved from Rehoboth Beach to Millsboro. That construction/traffic light comment is great. Its so true. They named a stretch in Dewey Beach "The Forgotten Mile", because a 3 month road work job took 2 years.
Is the woodshade apartment complex still standing in newark? I lived there until I was 9. It was about 5 minutes to the Christiana Mall.
