Help me find the best supplement.
I stopped drinking my whey weight gainer because I'm lactose intolerant which has forced me to focus more on real food and honestly it's helped me a lot with my gainz.
I've heard a lot about bcaa's and amino acids. But what else should I look into to further my progress?
Thanks in advance.

Supplements are supplements bro. They won't do some magic. If you do good gainz without supplements, don't waste your money. ""Supplement are to supplement"" - if you don't get enough protein, or bcaas if you cut to keep asap muscle. Train more time and when you stop seeing some progression you may take some supps Hope this helps

Interesting post guys, thanks! Controversial question: How much do you think supplements have aided your physique over the long term? Do you think you would be where you are now, without supplements?

If your pre-workout has creatine, no need more.
About creatine : There's absolute no difference in power output if you take it pre. Creatine stacks in the body. It works through consistency. You can take it with breakfast, pre, post-workout as long as you take it everyday x5 grams, no need more. About pre-workout I think the best ingredients are citrulline malate, beta-alanine, caffeine. In my opinion these are the ones that work. Ofcourse there may be many more, just my opinion.
I'm taking creatine post-workout.
Have a nice day bros!

Just track your macros. Eat oats, pasta, potatoes, rice, meat, nuts, veggies, eggs. Try to hit your macros. I use myfitnesspal, super useful! Gainer is dextrose+cheap protein in there. And you pay 50$ for 16days supply. Too expensive in the long run bro. Better take some good quality whey concentrate (as you try to gain, some 1-2 grams carbs and fats won't hurt, no need for expensive isolates). Universal Nutrition Ultra Pro Whey is pretty good concentrate. Or just find some other that you'd like.
Then mix 1 scoop of protein + 1 banana + some oats. I usually eat oats with yogurt for breakfast. And just train, stay consistent, eat good, sleep and recover good, and you'll see progress!

It will work the same way if you take it with other supps or alone. Only phosphatic acid will make difference because it makes better absorb of the creatine = more atp. I'd take only creatine, omega 3, glucosamine is good for bones and etc. if you have some problems it may help, look for some good joint support products if you have problems, no need for protein if you take enough from food. Aim for 1.5-2g protein per kg. Many results show more than 2.2g protein don't make any difference, but if you like to eat protein, no problem, don't forget the fats and carbs, you need from everything, protein doesn't make bad to your kidneys. Creatine no needs to be cycled, it's all safe. Creatine MONOHYDRATE is the best and most researched form. 5g a day for the rest of your life is good, no need to load. Look to be Creapure or Micronized creatine, if it's some ****ty low quality creatine ofc it may bloat you. If you look for pre-workout look for l-tyrosine, citrulline malate, beta-alanine, and caffeine if you want, this are the most proven ingredients. You may take bcaa if you cut, if you bulk, absolutely no need. Glutamine is ****. I don't like to take any vitamins because when your body uses to them, when you stop them your immune system gets weaker. I was taking long time vitamin C and after I stopped it for a while, immediately got aphta (my immune system got weaker), you may take some single vitamins if you have deficiency to them, but you have to check this to the doctor. To raise testosterone I thing best is DAA, ZMA would help if you're deficient to zinc and magnesium. Tribulus is better for super mega hyper hard libido Also make sure to sleed 8 hours minimum because your body recovers and grows while you sleep. Peanut butter rocks.

Protein supplements
So in reading the original post you are saying there would be no discernible difference between MP's Combat powder and Muscletech Nitro? As these are both two different absorption rates of protein. I am asking because I am getting into heavier lifting and am looking for a different powder. Any advice is appreciated.
