Some talk of Yannick Ngakoue to the birds. Would cost draft picks and Alshon + possibly Barnett. We would then have to pay him top DE money. Not sure what to make of it. On one hand, that defensive front is possibly the best we've ever had. On the other hand, our defensive line is already stacked with starters and doesn't really need to be that much better compared to other areas.

There's zero chance we get rid of Barnett. He's a year younger than Ngakoue and already knows the scheme.

This draft could not have realistically went worse than this. Raegor at 21 and Lamb was sitting at 16 and Atlanta didn't want him.....Howie really dropped the ball. Dallas doesn't get that much scarier with it, but Eagles don't get much better with Raegor. Would've rather had a trade back and take multiple second round WRs.

I honestly didn’t want Jefferson. Kinda hoping they drafted that Safety Mckinney with Lamb and Jeudy gone.

Reagors highlights looked filthy but his projection was late second round. They must have heard buzz that someone else was going to take him and didn’t want to lose him.

I think the draft being remote locations for everyone is really fukking up trades and will start making people get drafted higher than normal and make people drop in some spots.

I think Howie and Doug must have had Raegor ranked pretty high. They seemed pretty happy when they drafted him and didn't bother to move back. I'm more upset with Dallas getting CeeDee than us getting Raegor.

Xavier Mckinney is still available somehow. Would be sweet if we got him but doubt it

Beginning of the end for Carson. This was a terrible move for him.

As if he didn't face unwarranted and a ton of criticism as it is, not we take a ****ing qb in the 2nd? What in the actual ****. Carson doesn't need ANY more doubters. Now, every time he overthrows someone or makes a bad pass it's gonna be "let's see what this new kid can do". And if he gets hurt? Forget about it. This is one of the biggest head scratches in Eagles history, especially after they just paid Carson.

Jalen Hurts is an athlete. You could probably teach him any position on the field, and with his level of athleticism, he's going to excel. He gives the Eagles a great wildcat option, and he's a player that can actually throw out of that formation.

Gonna mess that team up. Just gave ur “franchise” QB 100m and draft a QB in the second round instead of putting weapons around him. I get it from eagles front office somewhat though. Dude can’t stay on the field, they want some security for if/when Carson goes down again. Not Nate sudfeld.

Exactly. Greg Ward could easily be thrown in as a Taysom Hill type. If you are going to get someone like Hurts to do the same thing as Hill, I am cool with 3rd round or later, not the freaking 2nd round when there are so many other positions that needed to be filled.

I think he addressed the defense in FA/Trades and Hargreave/Malik/Fletcher Cox in the middle and moving all over the place in Jim Schwartz defense will eat.

Slay is gonna get us a lot of turnovers that we almost never see last year. I think we'll give up yards because that's just what the eagles defense does but we should be alright.

As for drafting Jalen Hurts, I don't know what to feel but after the ****show that was JJ Arcega****side in the 2nd round, I am not feeling great about this draft.

If they all turn out to be **** then Howie should lose his drafting duties and just focus on contracts.

Something is definitely wrong with our conditioning coaches. We are one of the most consistently injured teams every year now. Having to rely on JP at LT again is gonna bite us. The man is way over the hill and gets injured every other game.

No Dillard, no Brooks, no Raegor. Desean likely gonna get another injury. Seems like this seasons already cursed.
