Originally I planned on waiting until next season so I could have the entire off-season to pack on some size...but then I got sick of just talking about it and decided it's time to be about it, so I'm going for it.

Still need to really tighten up and bring out the definition since I'm not really packing the size I'd like, going to try to make up for it with definition and at least out condition my competition.
Biggest issue right now will be stage presence, just because I'm not one for smiling, to me it's just very unnatural and fake when I do (with minor exceptions) so the judges will likely get a couple of cheeky smirks at best.
Detroit? No thanks.
Although I did spend a vacation weekend at the GM building and it was a blast!
Plus the view was amazing, clear visual across to Canada, really gorgeous.
Winter is coming unfortunately.
Have had frost basically every morning this past week.

Should be alright, just going to stick the girlfriend in the front row and count on her to do stupid **** to make me laugh/smile.
Serious...she's about the only one who finds a way these days.
It's just not my thing.
Should be alright though, if I come in with respectable conditioning I'm sure it can make up for a little bit of lack of stage presence.
We'll see though.
It's going to be my first show and really doing it mostly to get the stage experience, learn how the whole process really goes, get an understanding of what the judges are looking for, what my competition is like, etc. and use all of it to really help me prepare for next year and be truly competitive.�USMC (2009-2013) �

Hey, I had lost 110 lbs last year and had recently started working out, I am working out 6 days a week and the problem I had in my bind is body fat percentage I know we see abs when we get around 8-9% bodyfat but I couldn't guess at what body fat % am I at? Could you please help me out? By looking at my pro pic.

your have to get under 150ish probally to be that BF. You have the same issue as me with loose skin, and it plays tricks on your mind with your actual BF. Ide keep cutting until your comfortable with yourself, but eventually you will have to focus on gaining mass to fill it out.

Thanks, I feel bloofy as fuk as of late, especially since I've made a few dietary changes, but that's kinda expected. I have another couple of weeks before I will do a harden up recomp for vacation, then at the start of the new year I'll be switching to a long term recomp. Hopefully slowly build myself into a very lean state. At this point, I see very little rush as I don't know if I will compete next year and if I do, it will likely be later on. I consider it 'lifestyle bodybuilding', because I still think I will be moving at a decent rate towards my goals, but tbh, I don't have a straight cut motivation in me right now and a lack of food is about the only thing that truly starts to make me grumpy.
Looking good. Definitely keep us updated, I'm curious how things pan out for you.
Love the back veins. You have awesome trap development and tie-in.
Delts/arms are looking separated and great, Bob.
P.S. In response to your rep comment, I don't lurk that often now-a-days. Just too busy with school, internship, and life. Not to mention, doctorate apps on top of it all. I like writing, but essays are a whole other beast due to limits on length and trying to present yourself in a certain manner.

Looks like the off-season is going really well for you.
Much noticeably fuller than even a few weeks ago, the progression is insane.
In regards to my competition plans...
Just isn't in the cards financially at the moment, and as much as I attempted to dial it in, the prep time just wasn't logical and I felt like I'd end up coming in with a very disappointing (compared to potential) physique that just wouldn't hold it's own in any way.
So, back into the grind we go, just going to keep on pushing and dial it in better for next year.�USMC (2009-2013) �

Some light leg work this morning and pushing forward with this off-season.
Been holding tight around 185 for the majority of the week and feeling solid, easily room for another 5-10lbs before I'll re-evaluate.
Would love to finish between 195-200.
