I'm 5'6" and only weigh 90 pounds so I'm really skinny. For a few months by stomach has been sticking out and I don't know why. I haven't changed the way I eat or anything so I have no idea what caused it.
But I want to start working out to gain mass since I'm so skinny. Will working out help this problem or make it worse? Seems like it will get worse with all the food I'll be eating (I'm 90 pounds so obviously I need a lot.) I probably don't get more than 2,000 calories in as it is.
Any help on how I can get this to go away would be appreciated. I'm scared to start working out now because most people would say you need to go on a diet, but I'm gonna have to eat like crazy because of my weight. I've read about stomach vacuums, would those help?

This comment might be really ****ed up.. but you know when you see starving kids in 3rd world countries, how their stomach sticks out? Could just be what happens when you're so ****ing skinny your body freaks out.
Anyway- I would definitely advise eating a ton, don't worry about the problem getting worse. Sure aint gonna look worse than it does now. At least not for long.

Dudeeee, that is wayyyy tooo skinny, i thought i was skinny and i weigh double what you weigh. I don't know if you are ready to lift weights yet, your bones might break. Just fcking eat. Don't count calories, eat, go now, don't check this thread anymore, you don't have time, you have to eat.

Dude I don't know what the hell you have been doing but 90lbs is WAY to little for you man. You need to go feed your body now, try to eat more, clean though it doesn't mean go have pizza although at your weight...One thing is for sure, you need to provide enough cals to your body first, make sure you have a good nutrition diet set up and seriously try to eat more. I have the same problem.... In june I weighed 94lbs. I'm 5'5. I'm small and naturally way too skinny. My stomach also stuck out... I looked bloated, especially after I ate or drank anything.
I've been bulking and working out since june. In the first month of bulking I gained 18lbs. My stomach doesn't stick out near as much anymore. Plus I just feel healthier... not to mention I don't look too horribly skinny anymore. :]
I would say go for it!! Work out! Bulk! Don't hesitate to eat tons of food... just make sure you're eating right. If you work out and try to gain mass, only good will come from it. You won't regret it. Hopefully it will all work out for you the way it has for me!
