Can you clarify the number of positions for the front seat? I see 5 cut-outs on the front of your bench, but it looks like there is only 4 in the pictures on Prime's website.
    It's 5, there's one that's higher up from the other 4 slots.

Great pictures and review. I've been waiting for mine to come in the mail. How long did it take for yours to arrive? i'm approaching the 3rd week since i've ordered it and am very anxious. Did you order the decline attachment? Curious to know if you like the decline feature.

It took about a month from order to delivery. I didn't get the decline attachment.

Bump. Still stoked on it? Just ordered. Was between this and the Legend 3103, but the lead time (according the website) was a little better, plus I like the ladder style.

Although in fairness, I probablt would've ordered the Ironmaster Super Bench Pro if it was in stock. Either way this seems like the best choice (read: seeking confirmation bias lol).

Does prime bench store vertically and if it does is it stable?

No, it doesn't store vertically. I had originally wanted that feature, but I don't notice it now because the bench footprint is small enough and it's very easy to move around.

I just received this bench last week. I like it a lot. Has a ton of different incline settings, easy to adjust, easy to move around.

The back pad is a little soft as had been mentioned. 10 1/4 inch width, if that’s important to you. I actually realized I prefer the narrower width as it’s better for incline pressing. I don’t flat bench because of shoulder issues.

I was also between this and the Legend 3103. I went with the Prime for 2 reasons:

    1) 3 foot design is more stable than the 4 foot design on the legend.

    2) negligible pad gap in the flat position. I still do DB presses and other accessory things in the flat position, and pad gap just drives me crazy

Great feedback! What was your turn around time from order to delivery?

Incline press has greater shoulder involvement, so usually it's the other way around. Incline press is, however, easier on the rotator cuffs.

Everyone is different. Low incline press feels like less shoulder work (and pain) than flat bench for me.

If you set your incline too steep, then agree it is more of a shoulder exercise.
