So when i'm sober i can't do a single pull up. Recently tried to do it while i was drunk(2 bottles of beer or so) and i managed to do 10 pull ups(and while sober can't do even 1 chin up).
The point of this thread not to promoute the alcohol by any means, mostly i wonder: what does cause that?
I feel like i'm strong enought to do atleast one pull up, but i feel like some muscle is bottleneck for me and they are relaxed when i'm drunk.
So my question is which muscle can it be?

You could be onto something there, OP.. After a few brews i've noticed a rise in some aspects of athletic ability. My coordination was totally decreased, but strength seemed to have increased from what it was normally. At the time, I figured it was an adrenaline or euphoria rush(although i'm sure there's a deeper and more logical reason for it). Not something i'd rely on because the alcohol would mess with my caloric intake, but the temporary boost in what I could do sure was nice. Double edged sword, in my opinion. I mean, is it you doing the lifts or is it the substance? That's one part of it that would bother me in the long run, whether I can lift something or not i'd want it to be because of my own hard work and development, not because of something I took. I just wouldn't have the same feeling of accomplishment, you know?
