Cellucor Alpha Amino Review

I want to thank Cellucor for giving me an awesome opportunity to try out their new Alpha Amino. I have tried both the watermelon and lemon lime flavors. I will be doing this review based on the taste, mixability, strength & recovery, and formula.


Taste (10/10): Both the watermelon and lemon lime flavors were great! The watermelon flavor is very tasty and delicious. When I took my first sip it tasted exactly like watermelon Jolly Ranchers and it was really refreshing. It had both a sweet and sour aftertaste which I really liked a lot. The lemon lime flavor was good too and kind of tasted like Gatorade, but has a sweet and milky taste. I felt like the lemon lime flavor could have been more improved and could have had a little more sweet and sour taste to it. The watermelon was by far my favorite flavor and the Lemon lime was good too but could have been better.


Mixability (10/10): When I poured in one serving of each flavor into my shaker with about 12 oz. of water, the powder mixed instantly and completely. In my shaker there were no grams or clumps at all and the powder blended with the water very well. Some amino acid drinks I have tried in the past didn't mix too well because it either had residues in my shaker or there would be huge foams on top of my drink. I like how this mixes easily and quickly.


Strength and Recovery (10/10): When I am sipping through my Alpha amino in between my workout and then throughout the rest of my workout I noticed incredible strength and recovery. My resting periods between each set and exercise were low and I was capable of lifting heavier weights and doing extra sets. I was also able to get in a few extra reps when I do a drop set for certain exercises. At times I felt like I wanted to rest but instead I just wanted to keep going. I was surprised on how much I was capable of doing.


Formula (10/10): I like how this product is formulated because 5g of BCAA is just right and good for me, the 2.5g of Alpha Amino Complex and Alpha hydration-formula really does help to repair my muscles, makes them more nice and full, and keeps me well hydrated throughout my workout. When I sip this in between my workout and then throughout I feel that my muscle fullness and muscle pumps are still full and tight. They don't feel too exhausted or depleted at all. Instead of feeling diminished Alpha Amino helps keep me going towards the end of my workout successfully.


Even though I was only given a sample of each flavor and had only two workout days to try this out I did notice a great difference in both my workouts. I felt like I was able to push myself to my full performance and I didn't feel like I had to force or drag myself to finish my workouts with any trouble. When I drink just water throughout my entire workout, in the beginning I would feel just fine and concentrated. But towards the middle or end, I would feel fatigued and sometimes my mind would be somewhere else. When I drink the Alpha Amino it made a difference in my workouts. I am looking forward in trying the other 2 flavors and I do recommend giving it a try!
