    Squat issue

Hello all. The past month I have been fighting pain during squats. Everything is fine until I start going up in my movement. I feel a shooting pain in my right leg that seems to start at my knee and goes up the left side of my leg up into my middle hip and groin area. Only happens to my left leg and not my right. Even with 95 lbs I can feel the pain (Im about 365 max). A visit to a doctor I believe to be in my future and possibly PT but figure I would see if anyone has fought anything similar. TIA

I should add I only feel this during squats. I feel no pain on any other leg lift and even on a bike I dont feel it.

Sounds like you strained an adductor. I think honestly take a couple weeks off from weights, do some tempo bodyweight stuff and lots of stretching. Maybe try out some heat packs. If it really doesn't seem to be getting better, it's worth going to a PT.

How'd you get your deadlift to 506? 46 pound bar or something?
    Bench: 345
    Squat: 405
    Deadlift: 505

Asking the real questions hahah. It was with kilo plates. I actually messed up on that rep, it was supposed to be a final warmup of 475 but when I was adding it up I input the 15kg plates on the end as 15lbs. So I was really discouraged with the fact that it moved slower than I wanted it to, but then I realized it was actually a PR

Thank you! I'm just under 6 weeks out from my first meet, so I'm excited to see what I can do in that time
