Lol Lucky u that u can change your playlist. On my ipodshuffle I had the same beats for the last 7 months. I can't change it coz my pc is broken. I don't have a smartphone, and the only thing that access me to the net is my great iPad.
Like Dave said its good to see u got ur mojo back for the love for the gym!!!
I was gonna just chill out tonight but I think I'll go for a walk, but first I must hang out the washing >.<

So today was a good day as well Hopefully I can stay on this roll that i'm on. I stepped on the scale and was 311.5 pounds yay! Slowly getting to below the 310 goal.
Today at the gym did:-
- Overhead press: 3 x 8 - 30lb dumbell
- Deadlifts: 5 x 6 - 90lb dumbell
- One arm rows: 4 x 8 - 25lb dumbell
- Bicep curls: 3 x 5 - 20lb dumbell
- Leg press: 3 x 10 - 190lbs
Thereafter did 65mins on the treadmill and 20mins on the recumbent bike.
I think this week I have really tried to shake things up with the workout and hoping it helps. On analysing my weekly cals i saw that i had eaten more cals (over 2000) on average for the past 2 weeks and the weight seems to be coming off again? So have bumped cals back up to 2000+ temporarily unless things change.=================

Thanks Dave! Yes I had gotten abit down and out the past few weeks (didn't go to the gym for 2 weeks, was on a stall/plateau for afew weeks etc etc), but since getting back to it things seem to be improving which has really helped give me a boost! Thanks for the support, you're doing great too!

Didn't go to the gym today, decided to make it a rest day as I was sore all over from increasing weights in yesterdays workout.
Have felt weak and dizzyish all day, have been sniffling all day and i think i feel a sore throat coming on....I really hate being sick blegh! I've tried to drink as much water as I can and taken vitamin c and apple cider vinegar. Keeping my fingers crossed that I wake up feeling fine...if not it may mean a couple of days out of the gym sigh!=================

Today was still not feeling well, still have a runny nose and feeling off...but seems the cold may not hit as hard as I thought it would...must mean my body is healthier being able to fight it off quicker perhaps.
Made it to the gym, today did:-
-1hr 20mins walking on the treadmill. Tomorrow will be a rest day then back to the grind on Monday.

Today stepped on the scale and was 310.2 pounds! So close to getting below that 310 line...next goal is 305 then 300. The trip from 320 down to 310 felt like forever!
Today will be a rest day then back to the gym tomorrow.=================

Didn't go to the gym today afterall, my cold was still pretty bad, stuffy nose all day, sinuses on fire, sneezing sigh! Hoping will be better by tomorrow.

Today woke up to a great surprise....I am 309.1 pounds, finally below the 310 pound line yay! It's taken such a long time to get below it so I'm really glad. For once getting below 300lbs seems so close I can taste it...will keep fighting on with renewed energy. I will have to reward myself with something (non-food related of course lol) the day I get to 299lbs, haven't seen that number in over a decade.
I still have a cold so don't think will make it to the gym today. However I have made afew changes to my foods in the past few days that I think have helped to jumpstart the weightloss again.
I have reduced my calorie intake temporarily down to 1500ish however on days I am hungry can eat upto 2000. I have also decided to cut out milk, cream and nut butters from my daily foods as I feel these were triggers for me and also contributing to stalls. I however can have butter daily (within cals) and a limited amount of cheese but not daily. So for now for protein will stick to meats and eggs, and for fats will stick to butter, coconut oil, olive oil or avocadoes

Still abit sick but made it to the gym, today did:-
- chest press: 4 x 5 - 90lbs
- lat pull-downs: 4 x 6 - 90lbs
- leg press: 4 x 10 - 190lbs
- one arm dumbell rows: 4 x 10 - 22lb
- knee raises: 3 x 10
- calf raises: 3 x 10
- bicep curls: 3 x 6 - 17lb dumbell
Finished with 40mins on the walking on the treadmill
Today felt really really exhausted, not sure if it's because I was still weaning off the cold or what. Tomorrow is a cardio day so will see how that goes.

Doing pretty well, Cherry. The hardest part is the first 30 lbs, once you prove that you can move past that, staying on path is relatively easy.
Have you tried walking for an hour right after you wake up, if your life allows it actually. It helps me to burn calories and just have deep thoughts while I listen to some good music.Rugby, Judo, Basketball, MMA Fighter Crew (4-0).

Today was just one of the days....and when you're big you tend to have many of those days. So basically I bumped into some girl who was in my class way back when in elementary school, I haven't seen her in like 20 years? And we had a quick 5min or so catchup laughing about the good old days and do you remember so and so and what are they upto etc. Then she goes ahead to ask me "ummm what are you doing about your weight situation?" I thought i didn't hear properly because it was out of the blue and asked her what? and she had the audacity to repeat the question. I was pissed. But i'm one of those people who can never think of a comeback or be rude. So i told her I'm gymming here (we were standing almost outside the gym doors), and she said and what are you doing in the gym? I said i do cardio and weights....and this b*tch continues asking "and are you swimming? because that's good for you too". At this point i just told her I have to leave and was nice to meet and walked into the gym pi$$ed off. Worst part is she said she works out in the same building as the gym, about 4 offices down from it! grrrr!!! If i see her from now on will just tell her i'm in a hurry and keep walking, i don't have time for negativity in my life.
That's the thing with being fat...it's like you have to take crap from the world and be nice about it. I am seriously going to start going around slapping anyone who is disrespectful towards me. I think what pissed me off the most is that i am one pound shy of having lost 70 pounds, a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone into that, and because I'm still fat people think they have the right to talk to me like i'm garbage?
Over the past few months i have learnt to brush these things off (don't know if i mentioned some people were openly pointing and laughing and making remarks about me on sunday when i was at a cafe). This is the life i live, at least every single day or every other day some a$$hole is talking sh*t. 70pounds loss doesn't mean worth a damn if your still a fat a$$. But it's okay, i will let their hateration be my motivation.
People like these in the past would make me cry and go out and buy a whole bunch of crap food and shovel it down. But that was the old me. Now when people talk sh*t it motivates me to go to the gym and kick a$$ and eat right. The f*ck is wrong with society anyway???? We all have problems but just because mine show on the outside means I can be openly judged, insulted and laughed at? Sigh.
Sorry for the rant....just one of the days when the world is trying to break me down but I WILL NOT LET IT, I WILL KEEP FIGHTING THIS FIGHT TILL I WIN.

- 1 hour walking treadmill (3 miles), 20mins recumbent bike

I'm sorry, that was incredibly rude of her to say. And really it isn't anyone else's business anyway. It's one of those things that can be said so easily but it cuts real deep and you keep repeating it over and over again in your head (especially if you've gotten comments like that for a long time, and since childhood). I'm having a bad day as well, just don't see ANY difference despite all the hard work. In my head, I'm thinking I may have even gained weight idk.
Anyway, I admire your new attitude/perspective, that's definitely the way to go. It's easier said than done, but you just have to let comments like that not affect you. You're doing this for yourself and it will all be worth it.

I know what you mean, I too have some of those days when i feel like there's no change but as long as you've put in the hard work for sure there is, if not on the scale, it'll show on the measuring tape or on clothes that weren't fitting before. Today stepped on the scale and was 308 pounds yay! That makes it officially a total of 70 pounds lost since i started my journey last august....been almost a complete year now.
I need to appreciate how far I have come and how much hard work it took to get me here, It's the first time in my life I have ever been so committed to anything, I say this because I still have a looong way to go and sometimes can be discouraging but i'm learning to look at the positive side of things and remove negativity from my life.
I have dropped my intake to 1500ish cals temporarily for 2 months (started this week), but can eat to 2000 on days I feel hungry. This week averaged 1662 calories. At the moment I mostly eat 2 big meals a day, late breakfast around noon and dinner by around 8....so i'm somewhat loosely intermittently fasting with an 8 hour window on most days but it's not strict and seems to be working okay however if I feel hungry before bedtime can have a small snack which is a habit I seem to have curbed. I think all these changes have helped this week and hoping they help for the next 2 months as well. Afterwhich would re-evaluate and go back to eating my usual 1800-2000 cals per day.=================
