Any of you guys ever ran Wendler's 5/3/1 program? I am looking for something new. Probably a bad time to change though since I am bulking for another 4-5 weeks then will maintain for about 2 weeks and then start my cut. I wish I had looked into the 5/3/1 sooner as it seems a lot of people have great results from it. If you have ran it could you share your thoughts? Thanks fellas!

I don't like to go on any more of a deficit than 500cal which puts me around 2200 per day give or take. I think mentally the harder thing for me is only lifting 4 days per week. I'm thinking the further I get into it, the harder it will get since I will be in a deficit. I may shelf that idea until end of summer bulk rolls around. Thanks for the advice man!

My personal opinion is that 5/3/1 wouldn't be optimal while cutting. It's really hard to make strength gains when in a calorie deficit and since the volume is really low in 5/3/1, you don't burn a huge amount of calories during your workout.
I would do a push/pull/legs/off repeat split when cutting.
Check out the program on bodybuilding.com dr Jacob Wilson put out. I think that program with some steady state cardio added would be an awesome cutting programTrevor Kouritzin RHN, B.ENG

took car to dealer for maintenance
17 miles away
service took 2 hours
sipped on SciVation Green Apple BCAA
drove back (almost) all the way back home
forgot large SciVation shaker cup at dealer
called dealer and asked to keep shaker safe
turned and drove back (all 17 miles)
got shaker back
drove back home
no way I would leave that there

When it first came out about 2 years ago I got a sample of each. I enjoyed all of them but it's hard to remember exactly. I am going for the Orange Cream Pop, with milk that stuff is killer. I plan to use it for my post workout smoothies. I like the odd ball flavors like that, you don't see that flavor in protein very often. That's one reason I also love Trutein, awesome flavors.

I'm fairly sensitive to caffeine so I would just use one scoop. That makes each tub last a long time.
175mg caffeine + 100mg theanine is pretty much the perfect amount of stimulants IMO.
For the reps who have gotten a chance to try Quake before it's been released - which flavour was your favourite?Trevor Kouritzin RHN, B.ENG
