Here's what I don't undersstand. J&J vaccine is 66% effective (I think that was the number I read). The UK and Israel both have studies showing that one dose of the Pfizer vax is in the mid 70's-low 80's effective.

Yes of course, coronaviruses are seasonal. The problem is there was another huge surge after last summer.

This year, with higher levels of acquired immunity and with all vulnerable people (and many non vulnerable) being fully vaccinated by the time this summer ends, COVID should be irrelevant this winter.

Yes. The JJ having a lower effective number means a few more people still did get infected than Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, but they all had mild symptoms and no one required hospitalization. It's a more traditional vaccine. It will be easier to export to other countries too.

Wasn’t the single dose even higher after 2 weeks? The original figures for protection were lower because they got them prior to 2 weeks.

Thankfully most of us realize Fauci is a paniccel looking for attention. States are rolling back their restrictions, even cucked ones. I think we're at a temporary plateau in Covid numbers dropping for a couple of weeks, before numbers start plummeting as before. Get ready for some REEEE!!! screeching for a couple of weeks and ignore them.

Well, the current two-dose vaxes are being rolled out to at-risk people right now, so we would want them to be 95% effective with two doses. Once they can mass produce the one-shot-and-done J&J vax, that should be good enough to give to people who aren't going to get super sick or die anyway and get us to herd immunity and finally end all this. The J&J should be the one you can just schedule an appointment at CVS and go take. Pfizer and Moderna are much more difficult to mass produce and distribute because of the temperature handling required.

Just a few days ago Pfizer came out and said it can be stored at much warmer temperatures. -15 to -25 I believe. Just about anywhere will have that storage capacity.

I don’t disagree with you. I think JJ with be the one to snuff it out bc it’s easier to store and can easily inoculate the masses. The others are better for higher risk populations
