Because it's a 6 week contest that starts in a week. That's 7 weeks total. He might be under 600 pounds by then but definitely not below 500. At 600+ pounds there isn't much difference noticed when you lose weight so his before and after pictures would look exactly identical. By suggesting that he enter a physique contest at 600+ pounds you're essentially setting him up for failure, and if you've read the thread (as I know you have because I've seen your other posts) you know how OP feels about failure.

One of the reasons I don't like getting up early, it makes me eat more meals, which might be better for my blood sugar, but ends up being more calories. This is where I will be after I have lunch

I wouldn't worry about the more meals OP. If you eat more smaller meals, you will allow your stomach to begin to shrink down and that will make you feel full and satisfied with less food, and in the end help you loose weight and boost your metabolism over time as well. Its a good thing in the end.

My goal is not to necessarily become fully asthetic , it is to lose weight and gain mobility and, over all, get healthy. Sure, having a nice looking bod would please the ladies, but, if I am already in the position with one to where I am getting naked, then I've probably already got her where I want her, yes?

youre better off this way honestly in MY OPINION...for the long haul. if you cut too many cals man you are not going to make it im telling you that right now. you have proven ur will power is not of godlike quality...and ALL lifters get into mental dips...yours will hit hard if you dont eat enough im telling you. 2500-3k IMO. not the 2100 stuff.

That's not always true...just do a quick search to see how many morbidly obese people have completely transformed, and they don't look bad at all.
I've lost 100 lbs so far and I have absolutely no lose skin and not very many stretch marks. And im older than op too. Op doesn't have any stretch marks either, or very few, if I remember right, which is a good indication that even if he had surgery, his skin will go back to normal.100 lbs and counting gone....oh yeah!

Keep in mind, this is the "new norm". If you keep eating like this for years, you're body will probably settle around 250lbs or so. Eating smaller meals is much more livable for the long haul as opposed to one enormous meal a day.

Just about everyone here has your back OP, including me. You don't get a 120+ page thread on here for no reason. You might not have much faith in yourself but we all do have faith in you. Other people have gone from the size you are back to normal, it can happen. People might post insulting stuff, but its probably no worse than what you have thought of yourself over the years. You obviously couldn't give a phuck what people say anyway otherwise you would have never posted the thread in the first place.

"THE world’s former fattest man celebrates yesterday — after shedding an astonishing FORTY-SIX stone.
Paul Mason lost two-thirds of his 70st bulk following a gastric bypass op on the NHS that reduced his stomach to the size of an egg."
I read about him a while back, had no idea he was losing weight. He was nearly 1000lbs. OP why won't they give you a gastric bypass? You said they said you're too big? Thats not true if Paul Mason had one, he was 980lbs, 50% bigger than you, its not like its borderline, you're far lighter than he was.

http://www.mensfitness.com/training/...ry-duncan-ryan
wow haha
Doctors said that if he could lose 150 pounds, gastric bypass might be an option. His wife had other ideas. “She said, ‘If you can lose 150 pounds, you can lose the rest,’” he remembers. But a lot had to change first.
He started with his diet. Grudgingly, Ryan joined Weight Watchers and said goodbye to his twice-a-day McDonald’s habit, along with the bags of candy he had stashed all over his house.
Next, he joined a local YMCA, but he was winded just walking to the building. At first, he could do only two minutes of slow walking on a treadmill before he had to sit down. “But the next day, I did four minutes, and the next thing you know I was running.”
By the end of the year, Ryan was down to 188 pounds—a remarkable transformation in such a short amount of time. But he still wasn’t happy with his results. “I didn’t think I looked good,” he says. “I was gaunt and soft.”
That epiphany is what led Ryan to the world of weight training. “Everything finally clicked for me,” he says. The former fat man adjusted his diet to support his new workouts and began packing on 30 pounds of pure muscle. Today, at 215 pounds, he takes great pride in the fact that he looks as good as he feels.
DUNCAN'S TIP: DITCH THE B.S.
“Never let anybody tell you what you can’t do,” he says. “I had a million people tell me, ‘There’s no way you can do this.’ But no goal is unattainable.”
