Thanks Pharma. I've got to get a lot leaner
Thanks Doug! We had a great day on the water --- it was hot on land and we were minus our kids
My brothers, father and I are planning a great white dive for my youngest Bro's 50th later this year
Awesome ID!
I was going to say I'd sell my butt for a 335 x 5 bench, but you'd get more for your soul than I'd get for my butt
Too easy Kimm. Looking great as well
Basketball for shoulders; canteloupe for bis!

I have no idea..I started this diet they where 20-1/2" (no definition, triceps looked like a blob and biceps where not existent) but I promised myself no max lifts or measuring during the diet.
To all, thanks again for posting your progress, your efforts are inspirational and keep me focused and motivated on dieting and lifting heavy.400# Bulgarian bicep curl

Great stuff, Smelly - it's really starting to take shape.
I don't lift weights, I flex under duress.

I really hoped to beat this today but I didn't have it in me. 2s and partial 3s was all I could muster.Trying to bust a plateau on my flag pull ups I thought adding weight to simple flags might help. I did ok with a quarter but the 45 pretty much owns me but I'm hoping it helps reset what my body thinks tension really is.

I am not sure why know one has told yo this man, but that is not a deadlift, I am not even sure what you are doing, it is like a half bent over row/half squat/half deadlift movement. I am not saying this to be a dick but I don't want you to hurt yourself and set yourself back.
There are a lot of links here with videos on how to perform a proper deadlift, go to those and work on your form.
Dude that was a smooth fail. Way to go ID tonight is Bench for me and I am amped right now.On the list for Bannukah

@ ID Great job on the bench with 335. You made it look easy
@ Kimm Love the split leg approach, and good form on press. They rejected my lift because of no paper. I should have read the rules better...lol Now I got to re-lift.
@ Smelly Dem are some BigGGGGGGG Gunns!!

I sure hope they give you a fair shot at winning the challenge. In my opinion, your transformation is what the contest should be about. I hate it when they give the prize to someone that is an experienced bodybuilder that just took their bulk a bit too far before cutting.

Bad angle for sure....but I can see your form is WAY off.
Watch your heels in the vid. They are lifting. You are pulling through the balls of your feet. This causes the bar to drift forward (away from the shins). That is a deadlift no-no.
Start over.... Pull with the heels....and pull back, CHEST OUT. When doing a deadlift proper, if you were to let go of the bar during the lift, YOU SHOULD FALL BACK.....not stand up. You have to learn to pull through your heels and doing this from the beginning will save you a lot of heartache down the road.RAW lifts

Thank for the props, support, and contributions to the thread.
It makes me work harder and concentrate more. Because one arm is pulling and the other is pressing, the amount of and type of scapulo-thoracic tension is both strange and incredible. Its not the same, but is comparable in many ways to a dead lift--the way extreme tension and focus are required. I think it's woke up my rhomboids and traps quite a bit too. For sure it has put a new twist into my shoulder and lat work (length tension vs joint position and all that academic stuff).
and this^^^^^... plus it's a "project." I generally need something special to work on, make progress, and feel good about. Right now, Flags and Hands are fun and keep my workouts interesting."I'm not a Ninja, but I played one on TV." -cmoore, American Ninja Warrior (ANW 7,8)

Halfway through 12 week cut. Upper is lean but lower/legs have yet still to come in and are very smooth, although smaller and cellulite gone.

You've got wings like an angel, DD!
"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Damn!
DD, you really should show the whole tattoo!

I was able to get 450 and 455 for two new PR’s on deadlifts and while I’m very happy about it, especially considering I didn’t use a belt or straps, I’m concerned about the rounding in my back. Video shot from the side per request. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
Anyway, 405# Squat, 340# Bench and a 455# Deadlift gives me a 1200# total. I’d really like to get over 1250# before this year is over, the closer I get to 1300#, the better!
I really could use some help people, there's some obvious things wrong in that video. I think my strength is doing ok for the most part but I need some serious form improvements.Eat, Sleep, Lift...Repeat!

Looks like more back than legs. Strong Early ID style.
How much air is in you? That can change how much your diaphragm can support your spine. Too much or not enough can change a lot. Maybe try light lifts with varying amount in the tank to see if you can generate more tension/stability. GL."I'm not a Ninja, but I played one on TV." -cmoore, American Ninja Warrior (ANW 7,8)

Hotel shot. Not working out with weights just trying to diet and do cardio. It has been hell for me to try and work, travel and do anything in the gym. My body just wont do what I want...yet.
