Hi all
I just turned 50, I have been between jobs over the past two months and missed the gym, did my head in. I lost a hell of a lot of size particularly on my arms. However before that I noticed my arms were not growing and they are not as big as they were a year or so ago. Not sure what going on (don't say age).
Its becoming frustrating now, I have only been back into my routine for about a week now. Any thoughts or tips, or what I could take or should do would be appreciated.
Cheers

Good Triceps make up most of the arm and will make the biceps look bigger, so don't forget to develop the triceps. But as the saying goes if you want big biceps, stop training the biceps. The biceps are one of the most over-worked body parts. They can take a lot of repetitions and go the distance, but can be stubborn to grow.
Back in the day I got this advice from a pro-card bodybuilder saying if the biceps start to get stubborn, completely stop training them. (Actually this is not a secret but very common advice) Instead start doing alot of pullups, and heavy pulling exercises.Last edited by adamgentile; 12-27-2019 at 05:27 AM.

A lot of it is to do with genetics, I workout my triceps as much if not more than my biceps but the biceps remain more impressive. I could show off a good peak well before I even started working out!
The training just added size, if you don't have reasonable biceps in the first place adding size will be much harder.
