Lost another 1/4 inch off my waist (measuring through my belly button) aswell, since i last measured, close to a month ago, havent lost any weight though, because i have been eating a bit more.

I made it to Texas, playing for the Blacks. The club has been so nice to us, Texans are so nice, its crazy, just like being at home.

Cant update too much, I'm on mcdonalds wifi. Will update when I get internet.

Hooked it up today sir.

Here's a photo from the weekend, I've started out in the Division 3 team, hopefull move up when I get more familiar with the teams systems. Two major differences between Australian rugby and US rugby that I've noticed is.

a) The American boys are 2x bigger than back home, the boys here are fu(kin huge. We've got backrowers in my club here bigger than our big front rowers back home. Huge men! Not good for me cutting weight in the front row, but I decided I'm just going to start boring and twisting in scrums lol.

b) The refeering is ****house, its fu(kin terrible, I spend most of my time complaining about the refeering. I am so calm on the field, but I nearly lost my brain the other day.

c) I am a tad homesick, but here I am in the blue headgear.

haha yep everyone comes in from the side... watch those kidneys!!!

see the first grade guys lost - from mike gifford's fb...

yep all big lads... sammy a mini mountain and troy is a big lad - when i was there i hadn't done any weight for about 3 months and was only 215 but i guess now at just under 230 i would be ok...

in the scrums there seems to be no technique in the teams we played... when i was there tried to introduce stuff at scrum practice...

What you think of Zak the scrum half he is one of my friends from here...

so where you staying???

the club is awesome there and so friendly... allan sharpley is an awesome guy at is the heart of the club...

Well they do grow them bigger in texas haha. Yeah there is a pretty big problem in terms of a lack of quality referees. You pretty much have to keep reminding yourself to play to the referee.

Giff plays seconds now, I've started in D3 aswell, hopefully move up soon, thing is, the D1 boys beat Houston convincingly and beat Shreport 112-0, so I dont think the coach will change a winning team.

I scored a try last week in the D3 game and I put Mike Taylor away for a try this week just gone.

Home this weekend vs the huns.

Whats the standard like compared to back home?

Doesnt compare.

The only thing I will say is the Us boys tackle hard, they are athletes and are strong and big!

I should be right, man Austin is a mad city, crazy fun. Yeah ladies day this weekend, add me on ******** scott, i'll inbox you my details, i've got plenty of blacks photos on there. I suppose you know big andy the welshman?

Anyway, I've started Defrancos Built like a badass 3 day program. Loving it to bits, i'm fit as hell at the moment aswell, I think i'm down to like 218 pounds, maybe less I cant weigh myself in the morning.

Currently doing a cycle of winadrol (PH) and 1.M.R, ****in loving it, starting to get my strength back, which is all good, especially on bench making some good moves there. Leaning up a fair bit aswell.

The gym we train at is like a ghetto sweatbox, its cool as hell, i'm deadlifting in a trap bar now (hex bar), that is the best thing ever, i'll never deadlift with an olympic bar again.

Dunno we'll soon find out. I'll be right.

i want to get to 200 pounds by the start of the second round back home (june), so i can go home and play second row, hopefully start lineout jumping.

So yeah i want to lose about 20 pounds.

We won another game yesterday, I had 2 try assists and 2 runs of probably 20m, didn't pilfer any ball because the rucks are a mess here, so much illegal play. We won probably 47-21 or something. I'll getting smashed in these scrums, I dont think Im too small, i never had these problems back home.

I love Austin. Went down there for nationals a few years ago. It was insane, apart from the bars closing at 2.

haha.... i didnt pull any but again didnt ry either as just split with my gf of 2 and a bit years the week before i went...

i love the big irish bar in the studenty side... and the blue bar on the west side of 6th...

i'm used to 4 am in NYC and some parts of NJ. But I usually call it quits at 3.

Ok so leg day, i got 130kg squat x 1 and 160kg DL x 1. Not as strong as i used to be but i'm headed in the right direction again, finally. Went for the singles because I'm deloading next week.

Also jumped on the tanita body fat guess at golds gym. It reckons im 221 pounds, 13.1% bodyfat and 63% hydrated.

Going to hook up a bodpod test next week in Austin if its cheap enough, going to phone up tomorrow.
