Neg someone--it's good for the soul!
Have I made any money from writing? I wish!! Feel free to buy one of my books...or several
You should try writing a book about your experiences in the Marines. I'd read it!
Now, back to editing...

People not skiing may be weird to you, but not to me. Never liked winter or winter sports. Have done cross-country skiing...didn't care for it.
Scuba diving, would love to do it, but the pressure on my ears is too great if I go past twenty feet. Skin diving is fine, though. Happy with that. Parasailing was fun. Rock climbing, no, just...no. Yes, I'm a wuss at rocks. I don't mind admitting it."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com

No....I guess my attempt at humor was not clear.
I meant have you made any money related to your quote: "never gone streaking in Times Square--hell, these days people pay me to keep my clothes on".
I do think I can write.
But, a book about the Marines?
No....I was only in for four years.
So I'd leave that to the career Marines and historians.
My DVD documentary pretty much states my experiences.
From my perspective, it's too serious (dark, brutal, etc.) a subject matter and I think few would be interested.

Got it.
I think I just presumed some skydiving and parachuting were kind of inclusive in general training.
Shows you how much I know.
Of course, much respect for your time in military service.
Your humorous comment is refreshing when thinking of preparing for a night jump.

It was very little. Guess my bod is better left out in the open...or not...
I remember your DVD. Good watch. Yes, very brutal subject matter, but according to those who have served, many of the movies made are not factual, preferring the sensationalistic to the real. Just how it goes, unfortunately.
I'd still read your book, though."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com

Hmm, I've never done parachuting either, and never had the desire.
I've never scuba dived, but I would really have enjoyed the experience if I'd had.
I've never driven in the Indy 500, although my wife thinks I do that every day.
I've never gotten drunk and stupid -- all my stupidity has occurred while sober.
I've never backpacked across the Sierras, but that's been a dream for many years.
Oh, and for you snake haters out there -- I've never met a snake that wasn't a thing of beauty. I love them, even when they rattle and try to intimidate me.Last edited by ElrondHubbard; 03-20-2017 at 10:54 PM.

I was crazy enough to jump out of planes..
And because I was crazy enough to do that, I was also crazy enough to eat balut.. for breakfast, lunch and dinner…
..with white rice. (no racist)
In fact, many years ago as a senior at Norwich, I ate balut in front of a bunch of White cadets in a room while watching “Shawshank Redemption.” They were so grossed out they literally kicked me out.. So I never finished the movie.
I have never mooned anyone. But maybe decades from now when I’m a super-senior living in a nursing home I will decide to drop my pants in front of a hot nurse and tell her it’s balut.
Here's a brave White Folk eating balut:
This above all..
To thine ownself be true..
And it must follow, as the night the day..
Thou can'st not then be false to any man..
