It's not the same. Very few people who speed actually get in accidents where someone gets hurt. I literally know 40+ car guys who love to drive fast but none of them ever crashed in a way a innocent bystander was involved or someone got hurt/killed. You can actually speed safely if you can evaluate the situation (the guy in the video couldn't). It's one of a thousand who doesn't understand when it's relatively safe to speed and/or underestimates skill where chit like this actually happen. If I knew 40+ guys who shot at someone there would be a lot of deaths, it's not the same at all.

There are times when you can do 140+ mph safely. Obviously doing that in a busy street like in a video is not one of such cases, but I hate when people say speeding is reckless and should be punished heavily no matters the situation. I don't endanger anyone if I go for a fast drive on empty curvy roads at 4am and slow down to safe speed in time if I see someone oncoming.

Distracted driving actually is. But whatever, chitty drivers will have chitty beliefs. If you can't drive well you likely will never understand how there are people who drive at 120+ mph safer than you do at 40. Plenty of car guys have better car control driving sideways than average driver has driving straight. Goods drivers have the insight to see what's happening around and being able to predict what other drivers will do.
