Just as a reminder, this is the guy libs have been fawning over since this covid situation began.
He told nusing homes they have to take covid patients while doing none of the obvious things like cleaning the fukin subways for two months and now he's blaming the NY epicenter status on the CDC

weird policy to have the at risk population with the most cases take in covid-19 patients. it's almost like he wan'ts people in nursing homes to die.... i mean, they are .06% of the US population yet 43% of US deaths. they had field hospitals and a hospital ship they could have used but intentionally chose not to.

This seems reasonable.
I wish Greg Abbott had declared it March 7th instead of the 13th. Greg Abbott was also late to request the SBA declare Texas a disaster, so my loan applications went to the back of the line.
But this thread is about Cuomo.
My biggest gripe is, that I knew about all of this around January 11th. If I knew what was coming and watched Wuhan weld people into apartments in January, our government (Trump, Cuomo, Abbott, Everybody) should have also known.
This was entirely predictable in January.
I knew Remdesivir had higher efficacy than HCQ in January. If I knew it, our government should have also known it. It was documented and published in late January and early February and also all over WeChat.
The most frustrating part to me is that if I, a random guy in Texas, predicted this....why did we wait so long? It's a failure at all levels of government.Life is easy when you take personal responsibility

I dont really agree with it being reasonable, he closed down Broadway before he closed the schools.

Virus was mainly in NYC; DeBlasio could have shutdown NYC schools. Cuomo has to act on a state level.
But you're talking 4 days difference....Our entire government should have been acting in January, Cuomo Trump and all Governors.
I started buying N95 masks in February. All levels of government were way behind.
