Might as well break my misc virginity in this thread.

Addicted to porn since age 11-12, attempted NoFap last December but failed after not even 2 weeks, indulging myself in a 5 hour fapathon. Having nothing to do is your worst enemy when starting NoFap.
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I started my second go, urges are virtually non-existant.

It's gonna be interesting to see how this goes. Right now I feel like I could go on forever.

Before I begin this post. I'm on day 14 today. Tonight if I don't get a WD I'm fixed and I'll be back to feeling like myself. So if I get one tonight then don't assume I found the cure but I will if I have too.


Alright lets begin.
It's time to discuss prostatitis.
First of all what is prostatitis? Basically prostatitis is an inflammation of your prostate and possibly other organs around it. It's classified as a prostate infection.


You're probably thinking why the phuck should I care right? Well here's why: It can happen to you and if it does it will phuck you up. Especially for people on no fap. The entire reason people stay on no fap is due to the so called "benefits" they receive. While you guise may say if you don't fap/watch porn it doesn't matter because its not breaking the rules. The truth is any kind of reasons takes a toll on you. What happens with this condition is that not only do you experience terrible symptoms like groin pain, testicle pain, prostate pain, lower abdomen/back pain, excessive urination, consistent urge to urinate, and other symptoms but you will probably have excessive WDS. While that may seem like a good thing to you guise it's really not. They are worse than fapping because you will get them so consistently and they will be bigger orgasms and feel worse than fapping mentally. On top of that if you seriously have a good case of it they will happen 1x sometimes 3x a day everyday. People will try to tell you it's normal but you understand your body better than anyone. If it doesn't feel normal it's really not. Don't take anyone's answer for it.

Alright. So here are the ways the actual disease prostatitis can be caused. 1.) STD. (Usually Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and some people have reported to have it due to trichomes [usually occurs after being blows]) 2.) Activities that annoy the prostate (Biking excessively) 3.) An Infection really for no reason (consider yourself lucky if it's an actual infection. it'll be cleared up in 2 weeks/)

So there's 3 types of prostatitis. 1.) Acute Bacterial (you will experience all symptoms [probably not WDS] but the symptoms will provide severe pain and you'll have very high fevers) 2.) Chonric Bacterial (regular symptoms but not as severe and last months and it's very hard to cure. you'll be on anti biotics for a very long time) 3.) Chronic Non Bacterial prostatitis. 95% of the cases. Nobody really knows why it's caused and nobody has really any success curing it lol.

Now if you have symptoms like pain and urination and such and it's like legitimate pain then I would go to the doctor and get yourself checked out. If you're like me and the WDs are a main problem for you I may have some good news for you. What you have is called a congested prostate.

A congested prostate is where the prostate becomes inflammed/swollen due to excessive liquid. Which can causes symptoms like prostatitis because prostatitis is really just an inflammation of the prostate. I'd say the main way to really know if you have a congested prostate is if you have very very frequent WDs. It makes perfect sense. If your bucket is filled 90% when you produce 20% it will overflow. Your prostate is already filled with excessive liquid so when you produce more it will overflow/WD.

Here's the worst part. If you have a congested prostate regular releases (fapping)/WDs don't have that much of an effect on your prostate. I'm not entirely sure on why but the way I see it is to think of it rotting. If something rots it becomes old and sticky and solidifys. The way I see it is the old fluid has some mechanism where it's stuck and like rotting.

So how do I cure it? Well what I did was kind of a mix of many things. I was on anti biotics. I fapped so much for 2-3 days I thought I was gonna die lmao. Stopped taking cold showers. OD'ed on things on tyenol/aleeve (don't really OD just take like 3 a day). And lastly, I read that the only way to really clear your prostate is to drain it yourself. This is gonna sound brutal/scary but I mean if it's ruining your life like it did mine you do whatever you gotta do. You have to basically give yourself a prostate exam and when you get to your prostate you have to poke it VERY VERY CAREFULLY (don't like falcon punch your prostate you will ****ing die lol) but you have to do that until your prostate starts working and starts pushing that old stuff out on it's own.


Of course the best way is to avoid this in the first place. So why does this happen in the first place and how do I avoid it?

Basically you want to avoid serious arousal without a release. What happens is when you are aroused your prostate goes into it's zone and starts producing 2-4x more liquid. You have to realize that when you ejaculate the majority really comes from your prostate and then a little from your actual testes. So what happens is that excessive arousal without a release will get your prostate always to produce a lot and if it's that much excessive building up then you will get a congested prostate. (Think about it mathematically [<3 Math]. When you are aroused for an hour straight lets say you produce 2 units. If you're aroused for 3 hours a day lets say that you have produced a total of 6 units. Then your body needs a release so it resorts to a WD and a WD releases 4 units. And say that once you get to 12 units WDs/fapping do nothing and you have a congested prostate. Do you see how after a few days you will catch up to 12/congested prostate?


The reason I had it was because my ex and me would do stuff everyday for a while and she was super religious so was never fully comfy with getting me off all the time. (only did like 4 times in a span of 2-3 months). There is a theory that if you think about sexy chit all the time and don't fap then you can get it as well. (really depends on how high your libidio is).

The ironic part is that it can happen on the other end of the spectrum as well. If you masturbate excessively you can receive it as well. The reason being is your prostate is excessively being asked to work. What happens is that your body gets stuck in that zone of working excessively cause you fapped excessively. From what I have researched the only way to get through this is to just stop fapping and it will go away in a few weeks. I believe 2-4 weeks. This case is probably better than the other end of the spectrum considering it goes away on it's own and lasts 1/5 of the time usually lol.

Oh and if you don't have WDs have all the other symptoms GO TO THE FKIN UROLOGIST. It could be actual bacterial infection of prostatitis, or a STD, or even prostate cancer. Very early stages of prostate cancer have symptoms similar to prostatitis. Believe me, for the last few months my WDs would deplete my chemicals in my body and I would feel excessively depressed/nothing like myself but on top of that I was under the impression that cancer was a serious issue that that was even more depressing. So goodluck. If anyone needs anything just ask . I wish none of you have these problems though because they will phucking ruin you lol.

Your best bet is to keep yourself busy. I'm sure that you have something you need to do/work on.

Definitely agree with that. For me it gets really easy after about 40ish day, during which time I "forget" what fapping is/was. Though I get random days when I'm really ****in horny. Cold showers do help, as does exercise.

To be quite honest I broke it to post in the MMA section during fight night tonight, my favorite fighter is fighting.

However I think internet addiction is part and parcel of porn addiction. It's a way that I personally have lapsed back into looking at porn after renouncing it and even stopping for a month or more. I just spend time on the internet, and eventually I get bored of this constant stimulation of youtube videos, forum threads, etc. Then I start looking at women on the internet.

When you take porn out of your life, you have to replace it with something that's a little more stimulating and fulfilling than surfing the web for hours a day, whether that be on your phone or the computer, especially if you have an addiction with respect to the rush that internet porn gives. It's like that rush becomes a good and one of the main purposes in your life. When you take it out you're liable to find life very dull, and even if you hate porn, you'll go back to that porn because nobody wants a life that's just a grind.

Well, I'm kind of describing my experiences here using "you" because I'm sure lots of guys have the same kind of habits surrounding porn.

I promise though I'm going to cut it out after tonight and report the benefits at the end of february. I've noticed the benefits even while stopping internet for a week before, just no caring about virtual reality for a week. A months will afford some noticable benefits I'm sure. What I remember from that week was being a lot more in tune with real life, less of a "space cadet" (i.e. a better attention span), more mental acuity, and I was more content and less anxious in interactions with people.

Plus this is also the shortest month so it's not that bad.

Duude. A few days ago , after like a year of not dreamin anything, I had a dream. At first it was some normal stuff, then I was walking on a road, it was dark and raining, I could think, and I heard a car hitting the brakes, I thought his brakes were bad so he couldnt stop so I started running and right as I ran I felt the pure adrenalin rush all over my body, then the picture faded, my brother was poking me, I wanted to shoud but I couldnt make a sound, I was really paranoid, then I finally woke up. I've been trying to do this for a little over a year and keep failing. It's very frustrating. I have an idea why, but I won't bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, I think for most of us to be successful at this we have to figure the root problems in our life and fix those, otherwise we are simply putting a band-aid on a knife wound.

Dont keep it under the lid. You got no idea how much support it brings to the commubity when one knows that others are also going through a slump. I'm there right now as well - I can have bouts of very focused determination and energy, but it was months ago I felt a prolonged sensation of joy unattached from people's opinion of me.
