I got arrested on Christmas Eve about a decade ago when I got wasted and tore up my neighbors huge front lawn in the middle of the night with my truck. In my mind I was giving an Ahole neighbor an early gift
I live on a ranch taming and breaking horses in the middle of nowhere and get into a bunch of mischief

When I was 19, my mom beat me up for the last time, after a pattern of abuse starting at age 5 to 14. I broke the window of an antique store in anger, because she told me if I laid a hand on her she would have me committed.
I went to jail for five days, and got released on three years probation. My probation officer tried to get me locked up for any reason he could. He came over to my apartment one day (I lived alone at that point) and asked me what my goals were. I told him I wanted to buy a cooking pot so I could cook beans, instead of buying canned beans, which were more expensive. Because I said the word “pot” he had me arrested, because that is a slang term for marijuana. He knew the difference, but he later said he was teaching me a lesson.
I got thrown in jail multiple times, sometimes for things I legitimately did, and other times because they made things up. Every year, my probation officer recommended another year of probation added to my probation, so I always had three years left. I couldn’t stay away from drugs and alcohol back then, and once you’re in the system, you can never get out unless you keep your nose clean.
Now I’m older, and I don’t use drugs or drink any longer and I’ve stayed out of trouble since 2007.Amateur Comic Book Artist. Tools: iPad Pro (12.9 inches, 256 Gigabytes, 4th Generation) Apple Pencil

Holy **** that sucks brah. Can’t imagine how that would feel
That’s exactly what the prosecutor told my family when I got arrested once. They said get your son out of the system as fast as you can because once you’re in it you’re ****ed and it’s so hard to get out.
It’s literally designed to make money off of people’s freedom. So ****ed up and the PROSECUTOR admitted that to me.
