Anyone depressed about being old
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

When you go thru enough chit, it just becomes a normal existence. I have found that in general, people suck. So because of that, I have no interest in participating. Humans had a good run. I'm ready for that asteroid any day now.
A lot of people would just self-medicate, but, I choose to not live the lie, and accept things for how they are.

You're 34......what's the problem? High school and college and your late 20s when you probably hadn't evolved into your own yet are done. Thank God. Now you get to live up until your 50s with no more school to worry about. Stay in shape, drink plenty of water, don't get into total debt, and you should be all set to enjoy life like never before.

guess i feel lucky i have family members that did chit late
i also saw my other grandparents retire early and... they didn't seem to be that happy tbh. they travelled a lot but they had to do things to keep themselves preoccupied. my grandmother joined a bunch of organizations. like A LOT. very high up in girl scouts, some company that deals with blindness (there's more to this), leadership groups, etc., etc.
she travelled a ton for them, so she basically worked. maybe even moreso than she did normally
i feel like i have less of a romanticized version of "retiring" being this super awesome thing inherently, and as a result less of a time-crunch
i know tons of things can happen as well

Sadly that is inevitable. Overpopulation, people will probably elect somebody they don't truly understand out of fear and self indulgence
I turned 30 the other week and barely noticed tho. I think mindset can influence this. Plus a lot of my enjoyment in life is based on creative thinking, so I'm not as self conscious about my physical eventual decline. Not saying I don't have problems but I think banking on the external can shoot people in the footPerson
