I can't say specifically how Israel has helped us with ground troops but they are a superior ally to have in regards to their location and technology. Those folks, although may have not the best intentions, are some smart mfers. You can thank all the tech we use in our military to them as they created the microprocessor as well as the R&D for many, many systems we use today including the software we use for the M1A1 Abrams.

The main thing I like about our relationship with Israel is that they take our aid package and recycle it back to us. They buy our older weapons as well as invest into their R&D to continue supplying us with adaptive tech with the testing grounds for it. (Iron Dome is an example)

I truly am confused about the lack of knowledge a lot of people have regarding our relationship with Israel. Also, they basically created a garden out of a desert- have you seen any other countries do this? Other than that, a lot of their values align with western culture.

I would also add that it isn’t just the implementation of tech into traditional weapons which they bring to the table though. Cyber warfare is how more and more attacks are carried out and Israel is one of the leaders on that front. The Stuxnet worm alone probably set Iran’s progress back years, and that’s just a single example of one attack that we actually know about. With the evolution of war moving towards cyberspace we need as many top notch partners to help on that front as possible, and Israel certainly counts as a leader in that area.

Dude its all stolen from the USA and other western countries. Israel literally creates NOTHING. They build nothing. They can't survive without billions being poured in from the USA and Germany. This question keeps getting asked in the RP, and the truth is, nobody here knows. Unless you're in certain government positions, there's no way of knowing. Yeah we might know some of the basics, like intelligence sharing and live battlefield testing etc...but so much is probably above everybody's pay grade.
