Plus enchiladas = as much jalapenos, hot sauce, and salsa as I like and I can't go a day without at least one of those things

Bro... I kid you not, if you haven't tried Salmon with Jalapenos... you have to.

My local co-op grocery store makes these incredible sockeye salmon burger patties (just 100% wild caught sockeye + diced jalapenos), and the fat content of the salmon tames the spice from Jalapenos a bit but the flavor of the peppers seeps into the salmon itself and the flavor is simply insane... I think they also add a little sea salt and garlic powder... but honestly it was one of the best flavor combinations I have ever had before.

But I agree... enchiladas are one of my all-time favorites.

It’s funny cuz I started eating salmon with jalapenos about 3 years ago and thought I was the weirdest person ever for liking it til I meant someone else with the same preference. Now I eat it at least every 3-4 days. Also, I’ve never had a salmon burger but that sounds absolutely mindblowing.

It truly is amazing. The co-op minces the salmon fillets in house, adds fresh diced peppers and the spices, and just molds them into patties by hand.

It's great because there's zero bones whatsoever, and because it's minced/ground, all the flavor gets through the enter patty. I usually just eat them as a stand-alone along with a side because they're just that tasty. Expensive, but so damn tasty.

PS: wtf.... here I was thinking salmon + jalapeno was a 'weird/new' food combo. should have known there was a 90+% chance you'd have had it ;o)

Never get stomach issues but a slice of Green or Red Pepper will kill my GI tract
