Today's Order - 2017 Microwaves and Ignoring Supplement Labels

Scared to store anything in strange places as wife would find and ask WTF is this? I say all I take is protein, aminos, fish oil,joint supplements and multi-vitamins. Let's just say she has loosened as far as she will about supplements. When we dated and first got married she was SO against any supplements but has eased a little. I just don't think she would be keen on my use of caffeine and other stimulants. Of course I guess I don't really hide them...much anyway...in my supplement bag and stash in our bathroom closet. I just keep the wilder ones in back.

That sucks man. So many misconceptions out there. Sometimes, there's just no getting through to the people you love.

Luckily my wife is pretty cool about these sorts of things. Mom on the other hand? Forget it. She accused me of cell-tech when i was like 16 years old after I made my noob gainz. She's one of those people who thinks everything is out to kill us.

Well her parents are even worse and I am sure the reason of her stance. I remember when the Craze ordeal was hitting the news. Well their information only comes from the poorly produced "news" shows that every so often do those negative type segments on supplements, food, technology etc.. Anyway I remember father-in-law grabbing my protein powder to look at the ingredients and asking what was in it and saying how supplements have bad stuff in them. I was just IT'S PROTEIN and I know what I use(okay I have used a tub of craze once before) I research it and I know my health and tolerance and never abuse any of them.

My wife's only complaint was the crash from DMAA. When my parents visit or overhear my brother and I talking supps she's always saying something like "I read that X is bad for you", with X being something like "200mg of caffeine at once" or she just doesn't even remember what she thinks she read was bad for you. I'm still waiting for her to forward me what she says she read about 200mg of caffeine being bad for you, *crickets*

My favorite though is over a holiday a couple times I've put a pile of pills on my plate and then swallowed them with the meal, and an uncle or aunt will say "that can't be good for you". Yeah...those vitamins and EFA's and joint support are definitely bad for you *looks across table at fat out of shape sedentary zero muscle individual chugging diet soda". But logically they just think pills not prescribed by a doctor cannot be good for you. *rolls eyes*

hahaha ya I do bribe my wifey all the time w supps, but her objections relate to how many orders I place, not the fact that I use supps. She's been at home the last year or so, so there's no more picking up orders behind her back. When the delivery man comes, she's the one home to pick up the package, so that gives her some sort of an idea of how much I spend on supps :/

Zero interest. Not a coffee fan although the Syntha 6 coffee flavor they had was pretty good as is some coffee ice creams.

i'm not a coffee person either and anyone of my friends can tell you that but the animal one mocha cappucino has me liking it.

Hopefully all select is on sale for the insider of the new flavor, I need to re-up my gourmet vanilla stash.

Sad to see Blondie go. Always thought that was the most underrated protein out there. That said, new Select is always a net positive.

My wife is pretty cool but she's big on organic, non-GMO, reading labels, researching ingredients etc.. Never really bashes my supps. However today I brought home some Jack'd Up. I saw it at my local muscle shop and my curiosity got the best of me. I googled it later and read it's junk and doesn't really deliver. Later when she saw the bottle I just told her what I read. She just kind of gave me the look. So everything I read on this stuff was over a year ago. Is it still useless crap?
