Question Hows this stack looking? Any suggestions??

I'm new to BB site so hopefully this is the right forum for a question on supplements stack...a quick over view of my current situation...

I'm just over 6', 217 lbs, 36 yrs old and I just lost 18lbs since getting back into the gym 5 months ago which I feel like that progress was way too slow...still have a good layer of belly fat to lose.

I have been trying different supp stacks but nothing really I feel is getting me the perfect result of feeling good, energized, and without a crash. I have to work out in the AM so I'm trying not to do a pre work out w 300+ ml of caffeine because I like coffee too much to give it up, plus I cant afford to have that afternoon crash my job requires me to stay sharp all day...

My goal is fat loss and lean muscle gain.

That being said, any suggestions to add or remove from this list?

Also, is it ok to take the creatine mono 5g dose in Muscle Tech Platinum 100% Creatine along w the dose in my pre workout Evlution ENGN which is about 2g of a blend? Dont know why every damn pre work out comes w creatine now, as if we cant just get mono inexpensively and take it in addition.

Multi: Orange Triad (although not really loving the 6 pills a day in addition to the rest) and I take a high potency fish oil.
    Pre Workout: Evlution ENGN
Fat Burner: I love coffee & pre work outs with stims. So I went with a non stim fat burner Evlution LeanMode
    Protein: Gold Standard Whey
BCAA: Extend for intra workout (going to try to start training either completely fasted or just after a protein shake vs my usual oatmeal, shake, fruit pre work out meal. I hope that will help me burn off the extra fat much faster).

I know post was a long but wanted to give enough info...

Since you are taking ENGN.. You could take off a wee bit from your scoop of Muscletech Platinum as you only need at most 5g daily for creatine.
No need to take BCAA's after a protein shake as there are plenty in whey protein..

And 18lbs in 5 months is a great accomplishment. The most recommended is up to a pound of bodyweight loss/gain per week.

First off, pick one goal. Either lose fat or build muscle. Then set up your caloric intake for that goal. A loss of 18lbs is still great! You may have preserved more muscle mass competed to losing weight rapidly. Be patient.

    As far as the supps:

    • If you don't like taking the 6 caps of Triad then just go for their powder version.

    • another good non-stim fat burner is PES shift. Or just use your fat burning aid in place of your coffee. You can look into something like NEOGENIX Velocity Ultra and split the serving 2x per day if you're okay with it replacing your coffee. Both prouducts mentioned contain Forskolin 95 that may aid with body comp.

    • Gold standard is a reputable brand. Use your protien as needed to help meet protein intake.

    • pre-workout + BCAAs. If you're hitting protien intake then you may not need a bcaa. BUT if you're already taking a pre-workout and then taking Xtend intra then why not replace both with Quake 10.0? Contains theanine which should help from preventing the crash you dread before work + already contains a serving of xtend in the formula. Also, Quake doesn't contain creatine so you could still take your bulk creatine

18lbs in 5 months isn't anything to be disappointed about, especially if you're a little relaxed on your diet. You're definitely headed in the right direction, keep it up!

7g of creatine is perfectly fine. You likely aren't taking pre-workout everyday either so that's not an issue at all. As far as your supplement stack, everything looks pretty good man. I wouldn't suggest anything extra yet. Without knowing your diet and training routine I would say your focus should be centered on eating clean.

Thanks man I appreciate the encouragement. My diet definitely wasn't on point the whole time, I'll admit! Thats something I'm working on along with the supps.

Picking one is too damn hard man! Lol. I wish I could do both simultaneously but I know its not realistic.

Thanks for the recommendations. Quake 10.0 seems like it would be perfect, a lil high on the caffeine but I'll check it out when I run out of ENGN.

You'll be much better off picking one goal and focusing all your efforts on that.

Also Quake is a great pre and 1 scoop is only 175mg caffeine.

The more I talk to people I'm starting to see that the BCAA's might be a waste of money. They aren't cheap either!

I'm def going to give Quake a shot. Hearing all good things. I've never tried ENGN and I just picked it up on sale (bought 2) so I'm hoping I like it. Have you tried it?

For you, they are useless and a waste.

ENGN is actually pretty good IMO, got it on BOGO before and enjoyed it a lot, taste is great too.

excellent multi choice. which fish oil are you using?

the 6 a day, on the orange triad, should be split between meals thus making it easier to remember and maximally absorbed

The fish oil is by Norwegian Gold, something I just grabbed real quick at the store when I ran out of my fish oil last time.

I take the 6 multi's: 3 at breakfast, 3 at lunch or dinner, but at the time I ordered it I didn't realize you also had a version that came in powder form. I probably would have preferred that over the pills since I drink a ton of water anyway. I really liked the oximega greens, that stuff is crazy good. I just seen that you have a mixable combo of the greens and multi vitamins.
