The majority of people I know, both parents have to work a million hours to pay for their crotch fruit, or are divorced part time parents, have chitty brat kids, are stuck with fat ugly disinterested wives, or are otherwise miserable. I can count on one hand the number of families I know with happy marriages and well adjusted kids (as far as I can tell).

Ouch. Even moms are getting tired of kids in current year.

In The Myth of Mothering Joy, Fischer, mother of a young daughter, paints an unsparing picture: “The reality of motherhood is incontinence, boredom, weight gain, saggy breasts, depression, the end of romance, lack of sleep, dumbing down, career downturn, loss of sex drive, poverty, exhaustion and lack of fulfillment.”

The gene pool is a cesspool already. Maybe 1% of the population's best genetics should procreate for the betterment of the species. Go to any walmart and look at all the women in sweatpants half heatedly trying to wrangle 9 dirty toddlers only wearing diapers before spouting the benefits of jerking off into the gene pool.

I never wanted them or thought about them (wasn't something I was in control over so didnt give a fuk), but gf wants them so I'll go along eventually. People seem to always get attached to certain things (whether its pets, products, hobbies or something else), and at an older age kids usually seem less cringy than a lot of the other things

Yeah I wonder about that sometimes. Like you said in another thread it’s a taboo. So they can’t admit it.
I do believe most moms genuinely love their kids though. And many are overly attached even, like in love with their kids where the kid can do no wrong in their eyes. Those moms are really annoying to be around because they won’t discipline their kids.

Nature makes mothers fall deeply in love with their babies. Babies are very needy and who'd put up with that if you wouldn't be in love with that selfish psycho.
It's funny, though. I had this friend, or all the friends actually that I know, whose situation is not ideal and they "regret" having kids. They are so loving towards their kids, though. Like this one girl, I observe her, and when her kid bumbed into something, she immediately hugged him..I mean before he cried or anything. I was thinking I wouldn't even notice anything before they'd be screaming bloody murder.
I asked her about that. I said "you say, you don't want kids but you're so caring", and she said "well I don't want to fuk him up". But a lot of times she says things like "I got him at least" or just in general she seems to be so happy to have him. It's like what's she's telling me and how she's acting are contradictory.

my favorite thing to ask the guys at work on Friday that have kids is, "guess what I'm doing this weekend?" because at this point when I do ask they just say, "yes we know. you're doing whatever you want because you don't have kids.". occasionally I throw in my vacation plans or something similar. LOL!

I see having kids as playing a super long RPG, wherein if you play the game correctly, your kids become successful and well adjusted. That said, I can't wait to have kids.
If you don't want to have kids, you shouldn't have kids, no reason to have a child suffer through life unwanted.
Lastly, everyone has off days, people will regret anything once in a while, but at the end of the day, most people who have had kids wouldn't want to go back in time and not have those kids. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

No kids, no marriage guy here.
If you really want to lose your freedom in life go ahead and have those 2 things in your life.
