I get strong hunger pangs throughout the day and I satisfy them with a few scoops of natty peanut butter. I have a fairly clean diet and i pay attention to my macros. This doesn't seem like a lot to me (just two or three scoops) but I find that I consume an entire jar in a week or less? Many times I will do this at night, usually the hunger strikes me an hour before bed (very bad)
Am i overdoing the peanut butter? I get these strong cravings and a few scoops of peanut butter is enough to fill me with a good source of calories and fat. At this point I think I have conditioned my body to expect a few spoons of peanut butter muliple times throughout the day. Should I try to scale this back, or am I good?

Peanut butter can stack up extremely fast.. I find it hard to measure pb just by tablespoons or teaspoons.
I'd rather not get all of my fat from peanut butter... I think that getting fat from meat, dairy etc is important and satisfying. I don't have anything to back it up, but I'd say if it works for you, keep doing it.Out with the old, in with the new.

Pb is great, you don't have to worry about it as long as you count the calories and macros from it into your daily allowance etc. and if you're bulking, I would actually worry all about counting exactly all your pb kcals.

That's why I said a bit too much... That does not qualify for a high surplus

I think I can definitely relate as I'm addicted to p-nut butter as a lot of us are. Now, I don't intake quite as much as you do, but I do have my fair share. I would say as long as you're keeping a check on your BF and let the mirror be your guide, then you should be fine. If you notice too much gain, then maybe scale back a bit & perhaps replace one of your times of p-nut butter with a protein shake.
