    Too much peanut butter?

I get strong hunger pangs throughout the day and I satisfy them with a few scoops of natty peanut butter. I have a fairly clean diet and i pay attention to my macros. This doesn't seem like a lot to me (just two or three scoops) but I find that I consume an entire jar in a week or less? Many times I will do this at night, usually the hunger strikes me an hour before bed (very bad)

Am i overdoing the peanut butter? I get these strong cravings and a few scoops of peanut butter is enough to fill me with a good source of calories and fat. At this point I think I have conditioned my body to expect a few spoons of peanut butter muliple times throughout the day. Should I try to scale this back, or am I good?

As long as you are tracking the scoops of PB and it fits your cal/macro's.
I don't see a problem with eating it.

Peanut butter can stack up extremely fast.. I find it hard to measure pb just by tablespoons or teaspoons.

I'd rather not get all of my fat from peanut butter... I think that getting fat from meat, dairy etc is important and satisfying. I don't have anything to back it up, but I'd say if it works for you, keep doing it.

    You're fine.

Peanut butter is your friend. Your best friend. BFFAE.

Eat as much of it as you'd like as long as you're able to reach all your other goals.

I average 2 jars a week, on <2,500 kcal, and still reach all my EFA's, micronutrients etc.

I go through approximately 2 jars a week 1 being the regular smooth/crunchy peanut butter and the other being the flavoured kind..

As long as you weigh the servings and it fits your macros, then you should be fine...

PB all day every day, son!

Pb is great, you don't have to worry about it as long as you count the calories and macros from it into your daily allowance etc. and if you're bulking, I would actually worry all about counting exactly all your pb kcals.

So then we should just count "some" of our PB cals?

I think I can definitely relate as I'm addicted to p-nut butter as a lot of us are. Now, I don't intake quite as much as you do, but I do have my fair share. I would say as long as you're keeping a check on your BF and let the mirror be your guide, then you should be fine. If you notice too much gain, then maybe scale back a bit & perhaps replace one of your times of p-nut butter with a protein shake.
