Does sugar help build muscle on a bulk?

This might be a stupid question but assuming a person is eating enough calories and protein, would eating a lot of sugar on a bulk help you build more muscle? I know it wouldn't be healthy and you would probably store more fat but wouldn't the insulin help build more muscle as well?

not really, but i guess any extra calories "help" with bulking. stick to slower digesting carbs, too much sugar can mess with your body in alot of bad ways.

Go back to the keto section and bulk on your keto diet as you insisted to do so.

Myself and many others tried explaining, but apparently my diet will lead me to diabeeeeeetus.

Considering the fact that sugar (sucrose) is used up as energy (glucose), along with any other carbrohydrate, and that energy is needed for weight training, I'd say it's pretty useful, whether bulking or cutting

Everyone would get diabetes if something else didn't kill them first. Just like how everyone would die of Alzheimer's if something else didn't kill them first. Do you think you're immune to everything just because you work out all the time?

Lmao actually working out plays a huge roll in preventing diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, and alzheimer's even.

OP: insulin is highly anabolic, but i dont think it's worth it for the fat accumulation. I rather put on lean mass by eating right

Correct. This is a stupid question.

Eating sufficient protein and adding carbs to build muscle? It's not healthy but might make me more ripped? Eating a lot of sugar makes me store fat which is bad but makes me ripped from an insulin response? Is this the secret to success?
