    Arnold’s bodybuilding videos from bodybuilding.com

    Hey Fellow Bodybuilders,

I was just watching a bodybuilding.com video on YouTube featuring an interview with Arnold where he talks about protagonist and antagonist sets.

Example Bench press going right into wide grip pull ups.

Does anyone have anymore information on this topic or can point me in the right direction to do pro and antagonist sets?

    Thanks,

    Army1775

That is how he recommended supersets. You dont need to worry about that until you are a very advanced lifter.

    This.

They say a good artists copies, great artists steals. Any training will work and following Arnold's training principles (IMO the greatest bodybuilder ever) will work to a point.

But to really succeed in building a decent physique you need to find what works for you at your level. Stick to the basics and progress and not worry about what Arnold did and once you get to an advanced level you will have your own training program that suits you.

As for what he meant like spartan stated it was just a form of supersetting.
