I eat at least 3 eggs every day.For me there is no other way to eat breakfast. On the odd day I choose not to eat eggs, its usually a bacon sandwich OR a bowl of raisin bran,or maple brown sugar oats..BUT 9/10 its eggs. I have high cholesterol and blood pressure and on meds. Im not worried. I guess if I die from eating "natures food" then i die..our bodies should be more resilient imho.. I guess if you are worried cut down to one egg a day..a good way to make that filling is making a bacon, egg, cheese, mustard samich.

My neighbors used to keep a flock of geese, who had the run of about 10 acres. They laid lots of eggs, and we regularly got a bag of them. Bigger than chicken eggs, but they have that same bright yellow yolk that the free range chickens do. Absolutely delicious.

Try aging them next time in the fridge for 6-8 days (Saran wrapped air tight) before cooking. The enzymes break it down some making it more tender and take a little of the strong "gamey" flavor out. I always slow cook geese and ducks in the crockpot with onions and sometimes light cream of mushroom soup. Still not my favorite meat, pretty good like that, but not on par with doves, pheasant, or quail...

Whip up the 5 eggs with a little cream, throw them over some fresh onion, mushrooms, bell pepper, and a sliced chile serrano that have simmered in a skillet for just a bit. Stir and cook just enough to thicken. Cover with cheese and pop it in the oven. A delicious 5 egg frittata! Eat it over two days instead of just one! Where there's a will, there's a way.

I eat at least 3 eggs a day. But they're from free ranging hippie chickens raised by me. I believe there's a difference between organic and supermarket eggs.
At any rate, I have a feeling 10 years from now this thread will be resurrected like some lately.
And it would be great if you came out and responded with, "Yeah, bitchez. I'm still alive and I still eat 5 eggs a day."This above all..

Opinions in the medical world have change dramatically over the last decade concerning cholesterol. Obviously there's both bad LDL cholesterol and good HDL cholesterol, which is in eggs. I doubt that eating that many eggs is bad, but I wouldn't know for sure, especially since you have a history of high cholesterol. Cholesterol does boost testosterone though
Would second Partyrocking and make sure that your nutritionist is certified. Also, a good read concerning cholesterol is The Great Cholesterol Myth by Dr. Stephen Sinatra. As a side note, I usually eat 4-5 eggs every day and I have worked with a registered dietician and nutrition therapist, and she said eggs are great. Not sure if that really means anything since you're 4x older than me but I thought I'd mention it.To live is Christ, to die is gainz
