It honestly seems like the biggest pile of croc ever to me, but hey, that's just me... I know the misc is becoming slightly more progressive nowadays and that there may be many who disagree.
Let's just go over the arguments for and against:
For - studies of hyper-left wing scientists paid for by the UN
Against - numerous natural ice ages
- evidence of flood and drought in the bible
- human common sense
- studies of intelligent right-wing scientists not funded by biased institutions

Yes but mans effect is unknown and China is 90% responsible for whatever % man has, so the knee jerk SJW approach is pointless at best, a power grab most likely
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I've never thought about it from this perspective, very interesting, srs. The proliferation of anti global-warming attitudes in the media may just be a way for the Western world to subvert China and prevent it from seizing world power in the coming decades (which will very likely happen... just as many ethno-centric countries e.g. Japan, the Middle East will come to power, the latter granted it doesn't run out of oil, at which point it will shift from a second-world country to the biggest third-world slum on the face of the Earth).

According to all evidence we have, the Earth's climate is always changing, always warming or cooling. Sea levels have been rising and falling. I would like to see evidence where it has ever been stable for a long period of time. So I believe:
Is climate change real: Yes, because it is always changing.
Are we contributing to it: No doubt we are playing a part.
Can we stop it: No.
Giving money to the government worth it: Once again, according to history, that will only make things worse.

Let's hope they don't start teaching these lies to children in publically funded schools, that would be awful...
Oh wait, there's already calls to do this in Australia:

No.
I believe in science and logic.
Not a believer in taxes. Global warming is always connected with higher taxes.
You have to ask your self why."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

lol at Nasa, the only good thing they've given is in the past 100 years has been a moon landing. I think, at the end of the day, the government wants us all to be numb, hyper-socially conscious, zombified, brainwashed soyboys who eat deh' bugs and are easy to control. Coz eating meat maeks u dumb... lol.

true, people used to attribute natural disasters, drought and the like to God, now they contribute it to themselves. I wonder who they'll be blaming it over in 500 years?
Surely you need to ask why this narrative is being pushed though, and like someone else said, it's all to do with taxes, and yeah, more money for the government. They know they need lots of money to spend on infrastructure, defence and more importantly welfare, and they know they can't get that money from poor people (as poor people are a leftist governments biggest voter base, and a large percentage of the low-income population are skeptical of global warming), so what do they do, create a narrative that upper-class people will feel guilty about themselves for and thus hand over money... "oh, the emissions from your car are causing earthquakes, and that t-bone steak you're eating is contributing to holes in the ozone layer, and you're going to die from the resulting drought because there'll be no water when everything dries up".

Yes it’s a fact .
What does your body do when you get a virus and it’s numbers increase , your body gets a fever to raise the temperature in order to kill the virus.
The earth is the host and were the virus , and it’s going to warm up in order to control overpopulation.
Well, that was the narrative of the Kingsman lolMake Misc great again

Yes I think our climate is warming. Weather can change hourly, nevermind annually, but an upward trend in temperature and an increase in extreme weather is observationally supported.
Scientists that deny this or disagree with the mechanism of the change are a tiny minority.
And I can't imagine how human activity couldn't have some effect. Gas emissions, heat energy, deforestation, runoff changing the oceans...must all add up to something.
I think that it can be a real problem and also be exploited. IIRC China and maybe India are huge polluters. That doesn't mean the rest of us are innocent though as we purchase consumer goods from these countries.
Appears to be a classic tragedy of the commons. It's sad. Maybe population will decline quickly enough to reduce our effect on climate before we hit the potential runaway greenhouse effect.
Could be that nature finds a way and balance is achieved. See: superbugs (aka antibiotic resistant bacteria)INTP Crew

The alarmism is fed by:
- the leftist lust for govt. power over EVERYTHING
- journalists, politicians, and celebrities get off on the ideal that they’re saving the world
- it’s a gravy train for academia who can tap billions of govt. grant money for anything loosely associated with studying “climate change”

The hysteria is likely part of the global elites' plan to de-industrialize the west. Tax the people into poverty and transfer that money to developing countries to build up their industries in a bid to keep this ponzi scheme (aka late stage capitalism) on life support. Don't forget they own the media as well and use it as their ideological propaganda machine.

Not a fan. Said at the time our choices were corrupt or scary.
Will say I actually watched an interview with Tulsi Gabbard recently and she seemed sane/moderate.
ETA: might want to check out Disaster Capitalism, a book about how crises are exploited. IIRC The Patriot Act was already written and ready to go prior to 9/11. The attack created an opportunity to pass it.INTP Crew
