Not a fair fight especially with GIT. These are fragrances that smell better in their drydown, and on the body. It sounds like you were wearing Aventus already and she smelled it on you. A lot of people do not like the initial blast of aventus on paper before the top notes mellow down.

Yeah I wore Dylan Blue yesterday so I'm on a Versace kick this week. Although I don't really get cedar from mine, it's so citrusy that it's almost identical to Light Blue without the soapyness.

This weeks blind buy came in today...



I remember sometime last year asking a guy what fragrance he was wearing because it was so nice and it was Double Black, had this in my cart so long I forgot what it smelled like until a few sample sprays today. Lawdamercy this is amazing!

Versace Pour Homme
Versace Dylan Blue
Versace Eau Fraiche
Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme

Any of those 3 versace fragrances that I should take out? Not sure if they smell similar to one another. I know Versace Pour Homme gets lots of love here so I definitely think I'm gonna get that one.

The characters behind the inspiration for this fragrance are Venom, Carnage, and Blackheart.

Essentially, the aroma profile was envisioned as a boozy dark fruity, with abrasive texture‒with a sweet, heated gourmandish tar essence at the base. I would furthermore question adding a suede note‒or suede/leather accord as a nice finishing touch. The ambergris note could also be substituted for a Frankengris accord of some kind, which consists of an array including‒Cedramber, Ambroxan/Cetalox, Bois Ambrene Forte, a resin (Olibanum, Benzoin/Styrax, Dragon's Blood, Myrhh, Opopanax, Mastic, or Elemi), and a balsam (Copal, Peru, Tolu, Gurjun, Fir, or Birch Tar).

Sounds awesome. Srs. Although I'll buy pretty much any flanker of A* Men

Changing my opinion on DG Light Blue a tad. The dry down and scent around early afternoon was a lot better than the initial spray. I can understand it’s appeal now, just not for me.

Take out Versace pour homme.

Versace pour homme is very similar to Chanel allure homme sport. The latter is better albeit way more expensive.

AHS Eau extreme is allure homme sport plus added tonka and imo is better.
So essentially what I'm saying is AHSEE is a vastly superior version of Versace pour homme.

Versace man Eau fraiche is the freshest smell I own. I live in the Caribbean and it's the most "caribbean" thing I've ever smelled. It's awesome.

Dylan Blue is a sweet sorta banana smell with some dark elements that make it great for a night out. Definitely keep as well.

I liked it and decided to buy a whole bottle and was really disappointed at how it smelled which is when I realized the mix up. Don't know if I was more embarrassed walking around all day the day before with a woman's fragrance on or the fact that I preferred it to the pour homme. It's not one I reach for often and I can understand how it can be unappealing.

Sotd - Double Black

Man no need to be embarrassed by a smell. The women's light blue smells amazing and is similar to one of my favorite fragrances of all time, Creed Jardin D' Amalfi. Definitely check out Jardin as a bit more unisex than the female light blue.

Have smelled both and Eau fraiche is a manlier version of light blue for women. So if you don't like the latter I suggest you hold off on Eau fraiche though it's so good I really can't picture someone disliking this scent.
