    Question Sharp pain in tricep.

    I'm feeling a strange sharp pain in the middle of my tricep.
    I don't think it's DOMS because it's been about a week and a half without any direct tricep work.
    Has anyone had similar experiences or know what it may be?

    hey melbrah

    maybe some strained tendons , have you got a school physio or someone you can see? I suggest a sports physio , might help if u have private health insurance etc

    Does it hurt when you stretch or only when u train?

    only when my arm is completely extended and it only occurs in my left arm for some reason.
    will give it another week see how it goes

    I agree..

    I have this pain from over using my triceps too much and training chest 4-5 days a week doesnt help although im on a bench program that demands it so i will have to get use to it!

    Ice and recuperation is the best plan of attack. Also down 6-8 fish oil capsules

    so ur doing indirect tricep work? whats that, bench? press? what else? if u'v develop tricep overuse injury u might want to lay off indirect tricep work to, or u could make the injury worse. if its 1.5 weeks and u still have sharp pain, somethings definitly not right there. id see a sports doctor.

    lookin pretty strong in that pic btw, but why u wearing a fannypack?
