    Is creatine worth it?

I'm not a noob when it comes to information on creatine, but I just want to know whether or not it's worth taking/spending money on.

Note: I'm looking to make lean gains

When I first started taking creatine i started with the basic creatine monohydrate from GNC. Loaded up on that then switched to beast nutrition's creature. Definitely saw some gains in strength and went for more reps. Now that I am cutting I can definitely see the muscle mass that i gained with the help of creatine. Creatine however will not work unless you put the effort in at the gym.

Allmax Creapure: $20 for 200 (5g) servings. That's only(!) roughly 7 months for 20 bones. Sounds pretty cost effective to me

There's a small percentage of guys who are classified as "non-responders" to creatine and they guys have a hard time increasing creatine concentration in the muscles. Research shows however, that this non-responder effect can be overcome when creatine is administered with high glycemic carbs. This is because insulin can play an important role in facilitating creatine uptake. This is the premise behind MuscleTech Cell-Tech. So for you guys who've tried creatine alone, it's worth giving Cell-Tech a try is you're looking to make serious gains in size, strength, and mass.

I've found it to be one of the only worthwhile supplements i've used. I don't normally like using supplements as I prefer to stick to food, but if I have to - I stick with these three/four.

    1. Creatine monohydrate
    2. Whey protein(or Casein)
    3. Caffeine

Creatine is absolutely worth it. It is one of the most studied effective supplements available. It is also cheap.

    Cool

The most important supplements required are:-
    1. whey protein
    2. multivitamins
    3. fish oils
    4. caffeine
Its not that others are not important (including creatine), but not as much as these four.
this is good if you are on a budget.

Probably the most cost effective supplement out there....get a big 1,000 gram tub from Universal Nutrition. Dont waste any, skip loading and 5 grams 5 days a week is all you need.
