Well since we've only seen Ronnie benching 495x5 in videos, there is an article on beijinger.com titled "Meet the Human Hulk: Mr Olympia Legend Ronnie Coleman" where big Ron stated that his heaviest bench was 600 pounds. Exaggerated or not?

Levrone moving those 4 plates on incline like butter
And yeah, I think a 320 offseason Ronnie would be capable of moving 600 if he'd been gearing up with heavy lifts for a while.... which he obviously enjoyed doing“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

I believe it. Powerlifting is Ron's base, that's where he started. Then evolved into bodybuilding where most of the videos we saw of him were during prep. I can't think of any off season vids of Ron.

Kevin can't keep that story straight. It was published in M&F that he tore his pec on flies with 40's or 60's. I have posted scans of that article on that board here before.
With that being said, it is possible that Ronnie did it. Only he knows for sure since bodybuilders lie so damn much.....even Ronnie was known for that.CPT, CES, and FNS
