Although I don't know what Eddie Hall can max on a push-pressed log because he doesn't push press any of them really due to knee issues. But a 200kg (440) strict log is a fair bit ahead of a 450 log. Wonder why he called out Eddie specifically.

Edit: I'm wrong, Eddie has done a 207.5kg strict (455). God damn.
Edit2: With no belt, wrist wraps or elbow sleeves. GOD DAMN.

If Eddie can't push press then it doesn't matter if it's strict v non strict. If he can't do it then he's not getting any weight out of it.

Last I checked 460>456, so I wouldn't say he has "a ways to go"...

Take your air before you unrack it. Dont let it go. Do a quick inhale before you squat down.

Fam, any and all SI joint stretches/ways to unstick it . Mine feels like it is jammed to all hell and I can't squat or pull without my entire left lower back spasming.

I agree. My guess would be he can do it if it was a max log event, but wouldn't want to do it unless it was in the finals. I may be wrong, though, but knee pain/issue sounds like a risk he'd take because he's right up there on a max log.

To be honest, I doubt a full clean makes it much harder to what he did. If you see his 456 he still takes it to his lap as usual so I think it probably doesn't make it much different.

Thom, Eddie's 456 and Oberst's 450 are both in the gym though?

It did. I think that Oberst and Dimitar jumped to 505 (or whatever to beat Big Z) after that and both missed it.

Yup. I wanted to see Thor win bad. So close. If Burke didn't hit that first platform, Shaw may have went a bit faster, Z loses one point and Thor wins by a half point. Lots of good talent in the world class right now. It's awesome.
