I'm not triggered. I don't care at all. I simply lol when commentators lack the mental capacity to know that in today's pc climate you cannot pick out something related to skin color and say it without backlash. It doesn't take a genius to realize this. I'm not a fan of either team nor am I personally offended by this.

The point wasn't irrelevant and actually one that makes a ton of sense but not something many people would think of(i know i never considered it and I'm sure I'm not the only one)

But fact is when you run the read option the defensive players have to find the ball. So when a guy who is terrific at the fake in the first place is essentially also aided by a bit of camouflage(doubt it's by design) but with Lamar's speed any split second hesitation by the defender who isn't able to spot the ball in his hands...it could be just that split second that gets him the edge for a big gain.

That's what makes the Ravens so hard to stop. Everyone understands what they need to do but when Lamar executes these terrific fakes it's much harder to make the stop if you don't know where the ball is.

I didn't mean there is no merit to his claim, I mean it's irrelevant because you cannot force Lamar to be less black and there isn't a rule in place requiring him to wear long sleeves. It seems fairly racist to enact a rule specifically against dark black QB's so I don't think the NFL will take that on. The better approach would be to change the color of the ball, but then it would have to be something totally different than any potential skin tone, like blue or something dumb looking. I didn't mean he was wrong or stupid, just that by saying those comments (related to race/skin tone) you will take on a backlash, doesn't matter how dumb it seems it's just obvious. Because there isn't anything anyone can do about it, and because nobody was bitching about it when they weren't winning as many games last year (maybe they were and i just didn't hear about it), it simply didn't need to be said. Again, he's not racist and what he said is true and imo he's free to say w/e he wants, but to not know this would cause chaos and get him fired or suspended makes me laugh.

Obviously, the dark brown NFL football is going to be more visible and harder to hide for a pale skinned white QB wearing an eggshell white jersey than a dark skinned QB wearing a dark purple/other super dark colored jersey. You could say the same thing for a white QB in a short sleeved white jersey against a white QB wearing a dark jersey with matching dark long sleeves and gloves lol.

Like I said, take race out of it for a minute. Let's say two teams play. Let's say the visiting team wears bright white jerseys, and their QB decides to play with short sleeves and no gloves. The home team wears black jerseys, and their white QB decides to wear long black sleeves and black gloves matching his black jersey.

Then play the game at NFL speed. Do you or do you not see how the QB wearing dark clothes might have a very slight advantage in hiding the ball/doing fake handoffs over the one with his bare hands and arms exposed and showing his light skin to the world? The ball is dark brown. Yeah obviously it's not the *exact* same color as the QB's dark clothes, but it'll still blend in more with said dark colors than it does with pale white skin and bright white jerseys.

Nobody is saying Lamar isn’t playing great. But you were wrong on the dark skin not being effective as evident by 49ers players saying it’s true. And his passing TD’s are irrelevant for this topic. You acting like a white long sleeve proved the dark skin comments wrong is negated by the fact that the comment was in regards to the handoff exchange. Going from a team 4.7 YPC against a better defense to a team 3.5 YPC against the Bills doesn’t prove your point.
