    Is there any of you old bass turds that has never had

    an energy drink?

    I never have, I have never taken a pre workout either and only drank decaf coffee for the last 25 years.

    Fess up, I can't be the only one, but I feel like I am.

    Not one. Not even a Red Bull.

    I did go through a pre-workout jug about 10 years ago only because it was given to me. It was ok, but I concluded that a human cannot do that forever and I didn't want to depend on that for my workouts. A lot of people swear by them.

    I do like real coffee and I drink my share.

    years ago I bought a powder energy drink mix ..."super pump 5000 " or some sh*t.

    made me too jittery so I trashed it after the 1st serving...

    I'm ok with coffee.

    You can get good mileage out of a banana, I eat them before hikes or rides


    I train first thing in the am and I have a bagel and coffee, I have to eat or I will pass out, usually take a banana with me and eat it along with a shake after training.

    It's possible I had a red bull somewhere, just can't remember. Having dealt with some anxiety for years I try to even be careful with coffee.

    Just ordered som 5-HPT and ASHWAGANDHA KSM-66 for calming, anti stress effects etc. Didn't know about them till the other day and after a few hours of "research" decided to give it a go. Anyone have experiences with these?

    I have taken 5 HTP for some time at night and ZMA for years because I have suffered from insomnia for years. I know the ZMA helps some. 5 HTP might help but not sure. Hope it helps you.

    I just sniff ammonia before every lift. Even easy stuff like high rep face pulls. It's probably why I'm not afraid of the china coof. I mean what could possibly live in that environment...

    The folks at my gym use it on near max lifts only, over the weekend a guy attempting 500 was huffing it (he has lifted 500 about a year ago), he missed the lockout. He had asked me to film it.

    Never had an energy drink or a pre-workout.

    I was on lots of caffeine, diet coke or coffee, until 1.5 years ago when I went off of caffeine completely because of some cardiac stuff. Not that big of a deal as it turns out.

    I've used energy drinks ever since they came out with em. Not so much working out, but just in general.
    I like pre workout, but do plenty of workouts without them and I'm fine either way.

    I drank a Rockstar before hitting the gym once. Didn't read the can (it said two servings), heart was racing so much that I had to skip my workout. I have used White Flood in the past and kind of liked it, not jittery at all.

    Ok thanks. Hopefully I can get better luck. Don't really expect anything, just figured it's worth trying. Looked into a bunch of similar herb/schroom things the last few days and after these 2, I'm tempted to also try Bacopa Monnieri and Lion's Mane. If these 4 do nothing, I'll just put all this stuff to the side I think. If I get high I'll let you guys know as well.
