    Thursday and Thursdays Ima do the challenge once every hour for 12 hours.

    Ima be roasted by the end but gonna hopefully get stabilizers of peace.

    Very nice thread but it could use a subtle warning for pullup training overall..
    Checking in from the ER with IV bags pumping electrolytes into my system. Cause? 45 minutes on/off of pullups on thursday, arms are now on t rex time and wont straighten out. Be careful of high volume condensed sets of pullups or you can get rhabdomyolysis can lead to kidney failure and has a 5% death rate.
    Rhabdo is the death of skeletal muscle from many causes including overtraining, if you value gains this is basically the opposite. Spreading awareness, stay safe misc.
    The only way to have a friend is to be one.

    As long as a man stands in his own way, everything seems to be in his way.

    12 football players got it from training under a naive coach, I'm sure they were all well fed/hydrated, it's just simply doing too much in too little time.
    Regarding hydration to myself though, the day of my pullups I recall having slightly yellow pee though so I could've done better. It could happen under many circumstances though, not just poor caloric/water intake for the day.

    Jrod i've done wayy more volume than this challenge no problem. You didn't get rhabdomyolysis because of 1-2 minutes of pullups.

    Holy sh*t settle down man, I didn't once say you didn't get rhabdo. I'm just saying it's unlikely you got it from this challenge and more likely you got it because of other factors.

    Also, I've had rhabdomyolysis from a leg injury before so there goes the "be happy you didn't get it bs." I know it sucks, and I hope you get better soon.

    Mine resulted from 45 minutes of alternating between pullups/pushups till failure with poverty rest time in between, only stopped for water fountain+prevent sweating. Damn, rhabdo in the legs must've been a bitch and then some- were you whippin around in a wheelchair? Thanks bro, I'l be outta here by friday from what the doc told me.
