I expanded my post with more clarification. For example we could see a Chicago focused Midwest spike, the NY spike, and an LA spike for example all happening at different times.

With that said with how much Chinese travel there was it is odd that all the big Metro areas aren't getting hit as bad as NY. I'm pretty confused at why that isn't happening concurrently.

Was NY just that stupid with their advice regarding keeping Chinese festivals going etc?

I am a Los Angeles resident. We have been doing well and our apex is in 4 days. I saw a report that said we have enough beds and equipment for our spike. However they likely won't be needed since we have done awesome with social distancing.
