Still doxxing, dude. Doesn't matter if it's public info.

Either way, this is the Look What I Bought Thread, not the Let's Trash Welchers thread.

I bought some York milled plates yesterday, just because they were available. My equipment sickness may be coming back hard after months of sobriety.

    Would rep, but on spread.

I picked up a 70 lb Kettlebell a couple days ago. The seller had several for sale, but the other, lighter ones went quick. I guess the 70 was too heavy for everyone else.

Picked up these E:CEL 10lb dumbbells from local thrift shop. Never seen any equipment made in Korea before. Looked old so had to have them.

Also got some pretty sweet Urethane 6-hole plates from Magnum. Local guy had like 3000lbs worth a week ago. Had some non-urethane ones currently so got these to somewhat match. Back non-urethane plate is a 45lb CEMCO that he threw in.

Been on the lookout for more of these 45's ever since I scored a set a year ago. AB quoted at $350/pair. I launched OfferUp yesterday and saw I had a notification for "american barbell", opened it up and what do I see...

Dude was asking $300, picked them up for $240. They look/feel brand new.. I handled them for a bit and they still had oil from when they came out the mold.

Nice! I've had a really hard time finding 45s to match my Star Trac urethane set, so I know how tough it can be to score the better plates at a decent price.

This is my latest buy. The guy was asking $150 and I am certain he would have taken less, but it was a great price so I just gave him the full ask. It was just reupholstered recently, so the pads are like new.

Rogue Monster Lite adjustable monolift, $110. He didn't have the original hitch pins, so I'll have to cut down the ones he gave me or do without them. The monos are a very snug fit compared to my sandwich J cups, so I may not need the pins.

Nice! I don't know the retail price of that particular piece, but $1,200 seems like a steal for pretty much any Rogers Pendulum piece.

Good find. The fact that you made the long road trip for pick up means that you are now fully addicted to the equipment game.

New Rogers Power Squat Pro $3400
New Rogers Power Squat Pro XT $4200
New XT arms for retrofit $800

I picked up my first Rogers Power Squat Pro from Penn State University for $1900 (mint+ condition) way back when you almost never saw them become available used.

"coachras" got one at auction from the University of Tennessee (mint condition) for $800 several years back. I went down and picked that one up for him.

I have seen them on craigslist a couple of times for $800.

Anything $1700 or less is a fair deal on one in today's market IMO.

I believe that those Rogers Pendulum pieces that Chris demoed at USC sold for $800 each on craigslist several years ago. That was an unheard of price at the time.

Most of the big universities are on their second or even third lines of Rogers Pendulum pieces now. Each time that they turn over a line, the prices for used pieces drops lower and lower. It is not that hard to find Rogers pieces anymore. Finding one just a few years back was like finding gold for a home gym guy like myself.

This is a piece I've never even seen or used. Would love to find one to try sometime. If it takes up a reasonable amount of room there's a GHD that's going up for sale.

Monster is 1 inch monster lite is 5/8. I have those monos and have never considered using the hitch pins that came with mine. they are in very securely and wouldn't go anywhere barring some catastrophe.

Been using Rogue mono on my GPR378 for years, the pins are sleeved and whole thing is loose on the uprights.

If you actually need the pins, you have problems the pins are not going to fix.

Yes, I have Rogue ML mono's on my Legend 3133, 5/8" pins, sleeved up to 1", never had a problem and I've never used the hitch pins

Sure you don't need hitch pins for monos at the bottom as there is a pin at the top and also wrap around bracket to the upright, unless you are OCD

TSC does carry 1" diameter hitch pins along with 5/8" etc.. at least where i am .

Nice pick up, benching with mono's has really helped my shoulder issues. Oh and I suspect you won't need to use hitch pins.

Yeah, I did find them on TSC's website after I made that initial post. I opted to hold off on buying though as the monos are very snug. I was surprised considering how sloppy the fit is on my Rogue sandwich J-cups.

Yeah, a lot of guys say that re the shoulder issues, so figured I'd give them a shot at that price. My left shoulder has been problematic for years, so anything I can do to help work around that is a plus.

Cybex Arc Trainer. $50. Needs 2 linkage caps (~$30 shipped), but otherwise good to go. Bought new by seller for her home gym, so no commercial gym mileage on it either.

Built this this past weekend. Ran out of plates for testing though. Got to fine tune it a bit.

Flat bench for in the power rack or dumbells. I was just showing the weight capacity. I can stand on it with roughly 1000 pounds on it and it doesn't wobble. An updated version of my older bench that is just a bit taller for the power rack. My liftoff points were just a bit high on the old bench. Eventually I might finish one of them out as a flat bench.

Bought some bolts from bolt depot to replace some on my HS chest/back. I had hit some of the existing hardware with a wre wheel but I got tired of that and a few really needed to be replaced. Also found some weight horns on eBay.
    Thread had been quiet.

Not exactly bough this today but order was placed on 11/29/19 and the bar was delivered on 01/15/20

Vulcan really needs to work on their customer service . More than later.

    Here are the pics.

    Package

    With out Sleeves

Assembled . Using revolvers to check the tolerance of the sleeves. I am little picky on the tolerances on the sleeves and plates. DO NOT prefer loose stuff.

    Handles

    End cap

So i called Vulcan to enquire about the status of the order on 01/13/2020. The woman on the phone said oh yeah it is shipped and scheduled for delivery on 01/15 and you should have gotten an e-mail . I said No, i did not receive the e-mail. Then she resent the e-mail which i never got. I told her that this is not my first order with Vulcan and i checked my Junk folder too. Anyway, the bar was delivered as stated.

The packaging was good and no damage to the bar or sleeves. Assembling is pretty straight forward and the handles are nice and rotate well. I did not check for the end caps. Next day i got an e-mail saying that the endcaps will arrive in a follow up shipment and they will credit me for $20. The end caps are yet to be received.

Beyond that no issues with the bar. End of the day it is a trap bar. I should have gotten the original Gerard Trap bar when it was on sale for more than month last year.
