Hasn't worked for me for a month or so. I have been refreshing it every time I want to see replies to me, but even that isn't working now. Just pulls up a bunch of old replies, no new ones

Yeah the refreshing has stopped working for me also. Really miss this feature on the forums .

One of the places it pulls from is the search function. Devs need to fix it, op can't do chit about that.

Maybe don't use this if your username isn't very unique like mine.

The extension, by itself, ended up using almost 30 GB of data in a day crawling and listing all mentions of "Bulker" on BODYBUILDING.com lol. It was running in the background so I didn't even realised what it was doing until I saw my usage skyrocket.

Yoooo wtf ... Is this App draining the fuk out of data? I noticed my data usage has been high as fukk for the past couple months and random spikes out of nowhere in the middle of the night .. Oing as far as 30 gb etc. This would make complete sense.

It's the fukking resources it drains from chrome that bothers me.

If you uninstall and re-install the app every few weeks though it performs much better.

Yeah, live in a poverty country so I'm data capped at 185 gb... such is life.

I got rid of the extension and the usage came back down.

I had signed up for an extra 10 GB at the end of my data cap and the extension ate it up in TWO HOURS.

Hit Shift+Esc. It will show you which extensions/tabs are eating up your memory if you're on chrome. I'm not sure about data usage though.

Be careful. I had to disable FB every time I played a game otherwise I had terrible lag.

Before: Wouldn't update unless I refreshed, then it would be 20 + any that had occurred since the last log in. Regardless of whether read or not.

Now: my counter is at 91 because notifications never get outdated since some change occurred, and still read ones are not removed come the next day, they just pop up again. Another thing is that it's taking far too long for the bar to come up - probably because it has 91 messages to load.

I'm not complaining because it's free software, just reporting the situation from my end and it might help developerbrah.

ACTUALLY: Maybe if you're posting in threads with a lot of gifs it could eat up your data each time it loads those threads... am not sure if it filters images
