Forget the Haters that say skinny dudes can get swole!

This is a shout out to all the smaller dudes that are on a mission to get bigger.

I personally started out like this:
    21 years old
    5'9"
    130 lbs.

I hated this look, I wore baggy clothes to hide how small I was. One day I woke up and said forget all this ****. I am going to put some muscle mass on , no matter what the hell I have to go through.

I just want to give mad props for all the smaller guys out there trying to get to a new level with their body.
Find a drive, determination and discipline level that can't be broken.

Eat big, train big, sleep right and you will progress like a mad man.

Ignore anyone that says you can't do this or that.
Ignore or laugh when people see you putting on size and they immediately say you are juicing.

Us smaller guys never get the respect we deserve. The people that lose all the weight is the ones getting the praises.
Nobody but us really knows what it's like to be a hardgainer and go through life as a stick.

    Destroy the iron, no excuses.
” The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.
So wake up, forget past mistakes, forget you ever failed, in fact , forget everything. Step up and release that Animal inside”

reps bro! I must be at least part ecto, because I've always been weak and had less muscle than desireable you could say but that's gonna be changing if I have a thing to say about it.
I thank God for my success.

Yes sir, I hear you man.. Destroy the goal you have set.. The only person that could hold you back is you, and I know you won't let that happen.

I graduated high school in 04 at 6 foot 1, 147 pounds. I entered basic training the same. After Basic i was 6'1 182 pounds. By the time i hit my first duty station i weighed 165. Took me from 2005 - 2011 to get from 165-188. Army had me doing crazy amounts of cardio and i just couldnt seem to eat enough to gain size. Now that im out, ive started doing my own work out. Went from 175 to 188 in 3 months after finding this site again and following the information. Little guys can get some! just gotta stay focused and put in the work. Congrats to the OP for having much better self discipline than i do.

You are in crazy condition to only been lifting for 3 years. You must have some great knowledge, many lack that when starting.

Well I started at 21 years old, I know I trained wrong for 3 years and in my 4th I really started to put on nice mass as I learned how to eat and train.
I'm still striving daily to put on mass. I set a goal and when I get close, I shatter it and set a new one.
I really think that in this game, we will never be happy with how we look..

I know I always want to be bigger and bigger.

I was about the same. When I left for basic I was 139, that was almost two years ago. I got up to 172 or so and now I am around 165. I had to change my training. I was bulking and gaining weight pretty steadily. Now I am just working on getting in good enough shape to make it through Special Forces Assessment and Selection. I am still trying to gain weight but it is much harder with all the ruck marching and such.

I feel ya man I was in the same boat for a while.. I was 6ft @ 165lbs. I had muscle but because no size you couldn't tell when i had a shirt on, I got tired of people telling me I was skinny. It got old so I changed that... Never thought I would hit 180lbs, then 200lbs, then 215lbs and my highest is 219... Dedication & Patience are key. You can achieve what ever you set your mind to... you gotta start somewhere.

I use to weight around 115lb. I got made fun of for being one of the weekest guys on the football team and for being "Sticklike" Two summers ago, I was depressed and wanted to change, and look at me now 160lb lean muscle hulk that is stronger than any 160lb at my school and stronger than most of my clasmates that weight up in the 200+'s! Props to you man for doing the same. Anyone can do it, they just have to be willing too!

Cool Stevep is right you can fight genetics!

I thought I was just born skinny and it was always going to be that way.
Little did I know I could fight genetics. Once I started a proper diet, some supp's (no juice) and training hard 4-5 days a week my body started changing! Seeing these changes and becoming stronger just pushed me to train harder!

So hands down to the hard gainers! It takes perseverance but it can be done! No pain no gain! Im 6 foot and when I started training I was 145lbs I am currently at 186lbs almost 4 years later.

When I first seen Stevep's profile on bodyspace I was skinny and he definitely inspired me
So thanks Steven! Hopefully I can inspire some hardgainers! You just need Perseverance and dedication !

Do work bro! I am one of those skinny guys that made a life style change. I was 160ishlbs just three years ago and hoping to reach 200lbs at 10% bf after summer. (gotta stay lean for shirtless season). I love to read stuff like this it really keeps me motivated and pushing for further goals.

Crazy ass work bro. Myself, I think it's harder for us that are on the small end to put on mass rather than someone who is bigger and cut the fat. Though I think the discipline level for that is greater.

There are some beasts up in here. Keep doing your thang day in and day out..
Looking forward to seeing everyone swell up.
