Liam is such a great name, it's also the name of that strongest kid in the world they did a series about on Disc Health. Kid was like repping full bw pullups in kindergarten while the average child of that age can barely hold themselves up on the bar. He has some weird muscle disease which causes him to build muscle extremely easily and be advanced for his age. Also I like the name because it kinda rhymes with Ham.

It would be interesting if he waited a few extra days If he's born on the 9th it will be the same day as one of my good friends in NM, my dad and best friend are the 21st and 22nd respectively so it looks like he will be in great company no matter the time of the month.
My sister calls me waddles I bet there will be some pacing around with the little one and maybe some late night car rides lol.
That's awesome that they were all born on a Sunday! I think with some woman it can be hard to tell, especially with all the discomfort at the end. I'm just ready to go, so tired, fat and pregnant
Thanks Swoosh! I really hope that I'm a good mother
They are so curious its funny! The kitten won't leave the baby stuff alone, its all a bunch of toys for her lol.
It was great seeing them all for sure! It was the first time in a year that anyone came out to see us, it was always us going back out home.
I'm a little nervous but I think its the unknown! I'm actually going to pack my overnight bag tomorrow just in case. I think it would awesome if he waited until Valentines day, would be a memorable day for sure!
Hey Auntie Ham!
We just watched that a couple of weeks ago! Jim was like "I hope our Liam isn't that active!" BRB not having to diet to lose weight because child requires ten hours of activity a day to wear him out lol.
Hehehe, HamIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

So as promised I took some pics of the awesome gifts that you ladies got our little guy The outfit is from Romina, she picked a cute one.
Wanted to show that the car seat fits perfectly in it!
See! The kitten will not leave anything alone lol.
I had to show this since its was to awesome. A good friend of mine (who's birthday Liam might be born on) got him this and I absolutely love it. He might go home in it from the hospital.

Yay for fun beebee stuff!!! I absolutely LOVE that tshirt - so awesome. I saw a tee that said "I get my muscles from my mama" and had arrows pointing to the sleeves. I thought about getting one for my daughter
Have fun packing your bag! I remember packing a bunch of crap I never used the first time around. Now I would be like "iPod, toothbrush, comfy sweats and nursing tank" check check check and done! Please join me on my journey to find balance:

I have to admit there is some cute baby stuff and I want to buy it all! If it was a girl I would be buying shirts like that too
I figure I will be there two days tops so a couple pairs of sweat pants, tanks, undies and bras should do along with toiletries should be good.
Ever since I got that I've been looking for more things that have lifting themes on them
Oh man, I'm sick again with a horrible sinus infection. Went to the Dr on Friday and was prescribed an antibiotic. I went the pharmacy and was told it would $25 for a generic brand and I was like WTF? Since we couldn't afford it I figured I would ride out the weekend to see if I got better and no. Luckily I found out that they ran it through my husbands insurance which is all sorts of effed up right now, had them run it under mine and got it for $10.92, still more than it should be but I need to feel better. If this is what our wonderful healthcare reform is going to do I want nothing of it. Seriously I'm doubled insured and paying more than $4 for a generic antibiotic, it may not sound like much but not only am I paying for my insurance I am paying higher prices then I paid when I was uninsured. Sense this makes none.
The day is getting closer, roughly 10 more and the bubs should be out. Kinda freaky to think about. I've been pretty stressed about something too but hopefully it will workout. I would really like to have my parents out here but finding a solution is a major issue. They can't afford to get themselves out here and at one point Jim's parents offered to drive them out but we decided against it because my father is a hard core Republican and Jim's step dad is a die hard democrat self professed socialist. Both are very opinionated and Jim's step dad actually likes to start fights with the "evil" Republicans because he feels that his way of thinking is better. With my fathers health the way that it is not the best situation to put him in. At one point we decided to just have my mother come out since she is more level headed and doesn't let others bait her into arguments and last minute they decide to resend the offer to pick her up.
So needless to say I'm to the point where I almost don't want anyone to come out and just have Jim there and maybe the god mother if she can make it.Last edited by Echo814; 01-28-2013 at 01:31 PM.

Ugh, well, it costs me 24 dollars for my zantac, and 46 dollars for my nasal spray. Now I don't get either. Back in NL I'd get them both for 9 dollars. So I understand completely- prescriptions are ridiculous!
Aww, hope everyhting works out for you It must be so hard doing all this away from home *hugs* You'll get through it though, it'll be over before you know it!
Hope you feel better soon! Neti pots are awesome for sinus infections! I picked one up the other day because i missed my old one!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

It's just crazy that this hasn't been an issue up until the last couple of years... That's crazy that there is such a difference in price based off of location
After talking with my mom again it looks like they can't make it out here. She needs to find a job since my dad can't work due to his health and I completely understand, just would have been nice since I don't have anyone out here but Jim. Ugh, that reminds me, I need to find a daycare that takes newborns, goodbye extra money coming in sigh.
I'm feeling better now that I got the antibiotic. I can breath most of the time which is awesome
The days coming closer thats for sure. I went for my weekly appointment last night and I'm only a cm dilated. She wants to induce on the 15th if I haven't gone into labor by then.
I'm looking forward to being able to bend again, not have constant pain and pressure in my nether regions. I probably will not have a good nights sleep for a long time though. I've really been wanting one of those, been averaging 5 hours with less than 70% sleep efficiency I've lost some weight too, I was up to 187lbs on the drs scale a couple of weeks ago and now I'm about 180lbs, I also think with that weigh in I was retaining a crapton of water. If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Sorry you're not feeling well E. Being 9mths pregnant doesn't appear to be too comfy at all, lol, ohh feel free to smack me. Sucks about the sleep as well, hopefully that won't be an issue much longer.

Hey!!! Counting down those days - exciting and a little anxiety mixed in.
Not sleeping well is totally normal, I always felt like it was kind of a cruel joke - people would tell me "oh your body is just getting used to living on less sleep", whereas my response would be "oh, that's mean of my body to do that to me because I need my sleep NOW to better deal with a newborn soon". You'll be a bit of a happy zombie for about 3 weeks after Liam gets here but it's not bad. With my first I was counting the sleep I got every night - I wish I didn't do that. With my second I happily watched him and cuddled him with every night time feeding and thought of it as a blessing to have that time with him instead of thinking about how I needed to get back to bed to get as many minutes of sleep as possible
I won't even get started on the healthcare stuff. I've never been so in debt in my life thanks to the healthcare reform and insurance companies adjusting for it - I pay so much more per month for my family plan than I did about 4 years ago and our plan's deductible is now so high that I am still paying the hospital for my D&C surgery I had in Dec 2011, tack on my two October D&Cs and you can imagine that my debt/bills got really really high. Then with my company being bought in December we were put on a new plan Jan 1 - guess what, new plan, new deductible. I am breathing fire out of my nose right now...
Glad you are starting to feel better with the medication. I used a netipot when pregnant with Kenny and used hot water from the faucet, didn't realize you were supposed to use sterilized water. Then saw on the news people dying from doing that - brain infections or something like that. So be careful with those little nose teapots folks!
Thinking of you as you get closer to meeting Liam! Can't wait to see pictures of that cute little dude in his onesiePlease join me on my journey to find balance:

Hai E, hope you are feeling as well as a 9month preggers woman could possibly feel! Awaiting the appearance of a wild hamlette! Man I could just imagine all the Amazons in the hosptial together to give E moral support. There'd be a major shortage of chicken and oatmeal in the caffeteria and you would have people running amuck through the hospital in tank tops overhead pressing hospital beds in nervous anticipation.

Well if you insist Hammie! this gif made me LMAO The last two weeks have been rough, sick, increased pain, still feels like I got kicked in the cooter lol. Sleep is still bad, I wake up a lot as you can see.
I's can't do the netti pot My sinuses are so messed up I don't have a proper drainage point so I would drown myself.
Thanks B! I hope he's a good sleeper too, his schedule right now doesn't seem too bad so I hope it continues!
We got some other really cute ones just on Friday! I will go into more detail later.
I know right?! It's a cruel joke indeed, its just natures way of preparing you yeah right! lol
Ugh, I have paid more for health related stuff over the past couple of years than I ever have prior. Real reform would be preventing hospitals from charging $5 for a freaking band aid and the pharmaceutical companies a crapton for medicines that are cheap to make and have been around forever. Make it a affordable not just accessible geeze. I can only imagine with the high deductible plans how much you owe!
I never knew that about the netti pot! Brain infections lulz.
I appreciate that a lot Lori! Wish everyone that wants to be here could be!
Hey Swooshie!
I know I'm counting them! I'm pretty much about done with being pregnant lol. It would be awesome if you could be! I will let you know when the time comesIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Not yet Red I have a feeling it will be soon though!
I appreciate that B! haha! I love it pregoness! I'm not doing to bad, I just think I am hehe. Still not the most awesome feeling though.
I snorted out loud to this Ham! Seriously the image that came to mind freaking hilarious, I love it! Everyone could totally wear tank tops and shorts here, its going to be like 70ish all week or something.
Cape. Got it. I will need some skulls or evil flying monkey skeletons on it, or something
The past few days have been busy! Friday I came into work to an awesome surprise, my entire training class threw me a baby shower. I was so shocked, they decorated the room, got me a cake and Liam made out like a bandit, clothes, bottles, more diapers, books, blankets and a gift card. They almost made me cry I was so overwhelmed, in a good way though Yesterday I went got a pedicure for my now hugely bloated feet ( me feet look like they belong to a 300lbs person now), I felt so bad for the nail tech having to touch them, they just look groce now lol. Went to the movies and saw Hansel and Gretel, good movie would watch again.
Last night when I tried to go to sleep it was bad. I woke up feeling all horrible and like I was going to throw up, ended up running to the bath multiple times, slept until 10:30am but still got less then 6 hours of sleep. We went and did some running around today, got a dresser for all of Liams stuff, put in our 60 day notice to move out of the apartment and will start looking for a house.
I really hope he comes on time, Erica is so DONE being pregnant lol.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Hehe, I know I just think its natures cruel joke lol.
Wait what? Lol. I'm countin down to when I can workout again. Give it another 6-8 weeks lol.
=Aweosme
I wake up so much just from rolling over and having the pain in my groin hurting. I hope he does sleeps good too!
It was so nice to have them do that. I need to post a pic of something that one of them made. She bought a teddy bear and made a tricycle out of diapers, blankets, bibs, booties and a bottle, I can't bring myself to pull it a part!
Today has been rough. I'm still making it to work but I felt like I got hit by a bus today. My whole body hurts and I feel like all the life is sucked outta me. All I want to do is suck down a huge cold energy drink lol.
