Nah we don't count MJ's shames and losses. He's like Mohammed with his followers. We ignore him getting dicked down multiple times throughout his career, and getting cucked to the MLB to which he was only signed for ticket sales.
The times Jordan didn't make the finals, he was getting eliminated in the early rounds of the playoffs and/or not even making the playoffs.
The eye test tells me LeBron is better... We actually get to see LeBron play. Game by game, minute by minute, possession by possession... The only thing we see from MJ are highlight compilations.

I don't think it is cope when it is facts
We could judge MJ off the Bad Boys era of course, just like we could judge lebron in 2007 and 2011. It's not the same though, early Jordan had his failures and short comings but once he hit his prime he dominated the league throughout. Whereas lebron has fallen short many times after 11'
Wait though, you said bron has one finals loss last I checked he has lost in 2007, 2011, 2014, 15, 17, and 18.
So if somebody isn't the favorite and goes ahead and loses, that finals loss doesn't count?
You gotta finish the job
You lebron fans are the true copers. Making stuff up to justify lebron lol. Funniest thing ever honestlyR.I.P Greg Plitt

It's quite the opposite actually. The MJ and former Kobe copers look for anything to justify their own cope.. Oh no! LeBron sneezed while adjusting his headband!! He sux!! MJ GOAT!
10 finals appearances and 4 rings are a total failure for an NBA career right?... When it's all said and done. LeBron will have at MINIMUM 4 rings, and 4 finals MVP with 3 different teams under 3 different coaches at the least. His jersey will be retired in 3 different arenas. Also LOL at acting like carrying a brand new roster full of vagabonds mid season to the finals is a failure. All the while reaching the finals all over again without the clear cut number 2 guy who cried his way out.. How's that going for Kyrie? LOL at acting like taking 5 different coaches to the promise land is something to scoff at.. Including a mid-season coaching change.. How are all those coaches doing again? Spoelstra got lucky and will never sniff a finals again. Did you see his face all game long last night?
You are the only one coping but accuse others of coping.. Sounds pretty LIB of you.

The only argument people can bash Bron on is 2011 and it's a valid criticism. But looking further into it, he's played in a tougher defensive era (Jordan even advocated that zone defense would make his entire career path different), has gone through MULTIPLE galactic dynasties, superteams that were formed to exclusively stop him, and an era with the most elite talent pool we've ever seen. Took 5 different head coaches to the finals, took multiple teams to the finals that without him would be lottery contenders (Cavs both times and Heat), had an awful front office for the vast majority of his career (people were also openly mocking yhe Lakers front office just this past year)
Jordan won his rings in large part to the TRIANGLE SYSTEM which also helped Kobe and Shaq, played in the weakest era in NBA history besides maybe the 70's, was 1-9 in the playoffs without Pippen, never won anything without Phil Jackson, won his rings after the superteams of his era got old or broke up (Lakers, Celtics, Pistons), Jerry Krause for all his shortcomings was a HoF GM and put together an AMAZING squad around Jordan... case in point only having 2 less wins when Jordan retired and were a bad call away from going back to the ECF behind Pippen who was 3rd in MVP voting
People also seem to gloss over that Jordan lost a playoff series 4-2 after coming back from retirement. That happened.. I know Nike burned the tapes and tried to scrub that away along with every other analystLast edited by Jaydawg08; 10-01-2020 at 11:59 AM.

lol at the bolded.. who in the fuk says that anyway? Did anybody say that?
Imagine brainless people calling me a lib.
In another thread your dumbass said that Lakers were in first place.
This is how I know you are a retard and your opinion doesn't matter lmfao.(nba playoff thread) When they went against warriors and bron went down they were fourth but your dumbass said the above
Also where did I say he's a straight out failure? It's dumb to say he's not one of the greatest ever but it's funny people think he's THE greatest ever.
Also mirin' Metro's witty and ethering replies hahaha
Gap between MJ and Lebron is so huge anyway
3 chips
3 fmvps
1 mvp
1 dpoty
9 scoring titles
3 all defensive teams.
Gap so huge it's a HOF career by itselfR.I.P Greg Plitt

There’s a difference between knowing basketball and coping for your man crush every day on a forum.
A lot of people agreed with me that the GOAT conversation is fukn cringe, but you’ll take the Lebron is better than Jordan argument to your grave.
You’d be thinking I was the goat after a game of one on one, lil guy"Stop sitting back saying yeah man, I wanna be this, I wanna be that, grab your phucking nuts and be it" -Greg Plitt
Can't edit avi, mod tried to help but he couldn't figure it out either

LOL. I get following LeBron around.. I do because I want to watch greatness and actually assess his game, but JFC check your emotions. If you truly believe LeBron is a GOAT you shouldn't be whining about !!!DaNnY gReEn!!! AND arguing about LeBron to the grave.. Granted, there are tons of idiots full of cope who need to justify their opinion so they can sleep at night.
All I can say is Laker fans are lucky.

It's better to get bounced from the playoffs multiple times and then wait for one of the best coaches of all time and the most disrespected star ever (Pippen) to join you than it is to lose against the prime Spurs and Boston's super team in the playoffs at ages 22-24.
